It works, Sea gulls stay away from my boat lift

Placed several strips of this under the deck where the barn swallows were trying to nest. For several days they came and tried, but did not ever land. One day, when there wasn’t a lot of wind, they attempted more often. If you don’t have a breeze, a fan could be used to blow the strips. The moving strips is what deterred the birds. The roll is long enough to last a long time. I will probably remove the strips soon, as I think the birds have nested at Plan B. I can save them for next year. I secured them under the deck with thumbtacks. A couple of them did blow down. There were multiple strips up so it wasn’t a problem.

Discourages birds from landing on patio furniture and umbrella. Less mess to clean up!

I used to love this style tape, but this one was manufactured too thin causing it to break easily.

I actually made fun of a lot of people that purchased this product and posted pics. I thought "No wonder they aren't getting any results, they're not even mounting it correctly." Well, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't matter how it's mounted, it's not going to help you with your bird problem. I have a farm. I put 100lb test fishing line between trees and buildings and hung strips of this tape up when my ducks and chickens started to have babies. I've watched Redtail Hawks swoop right in-between two strings of this stuff, grab a baby duckling, then take off like there was nothing there. I've seen owls perched up right above the fishing line and reflective tape. The owls don't care about anything. Not even gunshots sometimes. Tape ain't gonna do anything to them either. To boot, all the little birds are thicker than ever. I have feeders out for them and the tape didn't slow them down any either... wonder what kind of bird this tape is meant for, then?

A lot of birds and wildlife where we live. The electric fence keeps out the big pests, but the ones that can fly in are a real challenge to control. I hung up a few of these strips early spring and it's kept the birds away. They would love to rip out the new onion foliage for their nest building. I will hang more of these along with a few other deterrents and hopefully help save the other garden items. We get a lot of wind in our area so they move around well.

While some other options were very pretty, this is actually effective in keeping birds at bay. However, if the birds really want to get on your balcony they will find a way - like the mated pair on ours - but it's keeping several other birds away, or at least since I put it up it seems to have worked in conjunction with some reflective discs. This tape really reflects light, even on cloudy days. Recommended.

Firstly before purchasing you should know that this is NOT Tape as it is described in the description, it's a Ribbon. It does not have adhesive properties to attach to anything. I attached this to some double sided weather proof ADHESIVE tape and affixed a few strips of it to mycRC Drone to hopefully scare off the local Bird wildlife from trying to attack it. Its very psychedelic and should keep them away. Otherwise this Ribbon seems to be of high quality and should work well scaring off Birds when attached in strip's on a balcony or tree etc.

Works really well for cherry tree that we have in our backyard, birds did not like the sound and reflection it makes and hence it deterred 99% birds except for a 2 birds who did not care. I recommend this product. Ensure to use in all side and inside too. The day we took these off after harvest the remaining cherries were eaten by birds.

Doesn’t work. It’s not tape it’s ribbon, birds aren’t scared of it at all. Don’t waste your time.

Worked well to repel eagles away from our chickens. Wasn’t as strong as I thought it would be. Probably have to replace it next year after being outside in the weather
