I just love this salt rimmer set. Not only is it functional but all a lovely piece of art and craftsmanship.

I love this product with 1 exception...When you set the lid on your bar top and try to add juice, it runs down to the edge of the lid, so if your glass rim is 3" wide instead of 5" wide, there's no juice left at the top center of the lid to wet the glass...it's all run down to the edges. If you try to add more juice, it spills over the edge.HOWEVER, this problem could be solved with 1 small addition...a rimming sponge. A round thin sponge with a hole in the middle that sits inside the lid to help hold the liquid so when you press your glass into it, you get an even coat of juice on the rim.I have one and it makes this product perfect...beautiful, functional, environmentally friendly (no plastic). I think I bought it for a few bucks on Amazon. Just look up rimming sponge.

This salt rimmer was exactly what I was after - aesthetically pleasing to have on the counter or bar cart, perfectly functional for adding a salty rim, and easily affordable. If you're in the market for one, this is a great purchase!

This is GREAT for extra large diameter margarita glasses. And the lid allows for extra salt storage for future supply and use. No waste of salt.
