Comfortable
I bought the queen sized one and it’s easily portable. It’s kinda hard to fold, but the quality is good and it’s pretty comfortable. I’ve had mine for about three months now, and it fits my small room perfectly.

Great for back, babies/toddlers that are fussy sleepers
We have been using this mat for 3 years. Originally bought for our then toddler to sleep next to her bed on the floor and then when she comes to our bed to not worry if she rolled off the talk bed as it was on the floor. The said toddler is now 5 and this floor mat has been turned into premanent bed for adults. I regret now every buying regular bed. This floor mat helped my back, neck and overall breathing as air is less dense lower on the floor. Do invest in tatami mats under it too, it helps prevent mold and it does give a bit of extra support. Airing it once every 2 weeks is more than enough - i obviously can’t put it outiside easily as it’s too large but raising tatamis against the wall and opening the window for half a day does it. It has gone thin beyond fix (no fluffing can do much anymore) after 3 years and yesterday i got the thicker version (thin/original version was great though) from this same company and quality is again top notch.

4in? More like 2! But I’ve been lied to my whole life so what do I know..
Way thinner than the pictures, but holy molly this thing is comfortable!!! I’ve been sleeping on this on hard wood floor now for two months, and it’s some of the best sleep I’ve had! Better than any expensive mattress. And definitely better than an air mattress that you have to keep blowing up because it holds its shape. It’s pillowy firm in all the right places. I can sleep on my side or my back without feeling sore in my hips or shoulders in the morning. It’s nice to just lounge on as well. Super light weight! Easy to fold and pack away in the bag it comes in, (folds to 2x5) making it easy for storage or travel. A child could carry this around it’s so light. This would totally replace my actual bed if it had a bed frame. Can fit two people comfortably im sure, but for now it fits just me and my two large dogs perfectly.

Cat approved human cat bed.
Bought this because I needed a spare bed for when my sister was coming to visit, I figured out it would fit perfectly on top of my couch. It is VERY comfortable, I've slept on it to try it out and now I've slept on it many times just because. It's pretty easy to move around as well so you can fold it up and store it away, but I leave it out because, as you can see, my cat thinks it's a giant cat bed that I bought for her, she refuses to use cat beds but she approves of it. You can tell this bed was built with quality in mind and it seems like it's going to last a long time. I love it.

LOVE this, but do not buy if you are expecting a true mattress or futon :)
Update: We ended up buying a king size to replace our bed about six months ago and it’s been great in many ways. I will say that we’re both side sleepers, so when my husband started getting a brachial nerve impingement (from typing, playing guitar, and resting his elbows on his knees reading, mostly) we decided we needed a second one to help him sleep, and just in case the sleeping arrangement change is part of the issue. I think we might get some tatami mats next because we find the mat slips away slowly from the wall throughout the week, but overall we still totally love it! Zero issues with compression in the actual fluffiness. It’s also much easier to move to vacuum rather than crawling under a bed trying to get balls of cat fur. And it’s hilarious now when our cat rolls off it unexpectedly rather than scary watching him drop two feet! One thing to note: this is NOT thick. It’s comfy, but if you like squishy beds/couch/other seating this might not be for you. It’s like a Japanese floor mattress, made to add a bit of comfort to spending your sitting time on the ground. It could also be used on a too thin/blow up mattress for extra comfort. Camping or beach trips are a good idea for it too! That said, I LOVE this floor mattress. The colors are great and it’s perfect for my long transition to being able to sit on the floor without pain after an injury and a couple of car accidents over the last 8 years. I read on it last night laying down and am working on it today sitting up with one of the cushions in the photo to help tilt my pelvis a bit to support my neck and it’s working wonders! Definitely would buy again!

First one a dud. Hope for the replacement.
Final Updated Review: My husband convinced me to do a replacement first and see if we get the same issues. It arrived promptly, but in a completely different color than what we chose (teal -> gray). Am I going to deal with returning again for that? No, but I will dock a star for that, because it is just one more thing that went wrong with this order. So we laid it out again to let it fluff up and did not touch it for 24 hours. Fluffed up decently, about 4 inches high. We put the cover they provided on. So far, the kids find it comfy and I have not seen any damage to the fabric like with our first one. One thing I didn't mention before is that it comes tightly rolled in a flimsy black bag. Both bags were ripped upon arrival, where the zipper is. They also provide you a travel bag of the same material for the futon, but I don't have faith in its durability. The bags feel like they are made of reusable shopping bags, the paper-y kind. I still have reservations on how long this futon will last, but for now, the replacement has held up. I've said all I can say about this product. If it falls apart on me in a month, I won't be surprised. But here's hoping it defies my skepticism. Wishing you a better experience! (Returning the first one was easy with Amazon's drop-off sites. We just brought the giant rolled up mattress to Kohl's. Thank goodness for that because there was no way we were squeezing it back into its original packing box!) Original review: We received it and unpacked it immediately so that our kids could use it as soon as possible. (We did not use it, we unpacked and laid it out per vendor instruction to allow it to fluff up.) It was well packaged and began to puff up right away, but it is still not as thick as the picture. The turquoise color is lovely, but we did notice a one-inch tear in the fabric (picture shown) after it had puffed up. The material is thin, feels like cotton sheets. I checked the stitching all around and that seems secure. The tear is disappointing since this cost nearly $200, but I guess I will just patch it up because the children have already fallen in love with it. Hopefully, the extra cover they provided will prevent further damage. Even though it is not as thick as I expected, it is comfy. If there had been no tear, I would have given 5 stars based on price, delivery, and fairly accurate product description. But still, the cost is high enough that I can't overlook the damage in the item. Update on Original Review: Day TWO, three more frayed holes. We have no pets. We laid it on the carpet. All I did was take the edges to fluff it a few times throughout the evening. The holes appeared on the bottom part of futon. I had wanted to just patch it, and count it as a loss, but this is too ridiculous. We are returning it. I am really disappointed. Purchase a better one somewhere else.

Soft fabric and right thikness. My kids like it as well as my cat.
This mattress is perferc for sleepovers. As my son's friends come over, somehow they do not want to sleep in their rooms. Instead, they have been asking me to set up something in the living room, so that 4~5 of them all stay together through the night. I bought a couple of different mattresses before, and so far this is the best. Soft fabric, thick enough and not that heavy. One thing I am still questioning is folding and storing. It comes with a bag, but folding it to a right size is a hassle.

Good quality but not that compact for storing in a small house
Good quality, but not that easy to store as it seems in pictures. It takes full space as a full size mattress after putting in the bag, but better than sleeping on an inflated mattress which is not this comfortable.
