I ordered these for my porch lights as I wanted a more vintage look but they are smaller than I originally thought so in the end I gave them to my Daughter for her hallway light.As said these are quite compact just a little larger than a golfball type of bulb but they do look nice and when on they are bright.These bulbs are sturdy and screw into place without the fear of damaging them and the filament design does give them a more retro look.I removed one star as I found that the filaments on a few of the bulbs were not straight and although they worked just as well, when the light was off I noticed it.As the listing states these are not dimmable so you can only install them on a normal on / off switch but if you want something that looks more traditional then these do a nice job of it.

I have used the E27 Led Filament Bulb, 4W (40W) Vintage Mini Globe Bulb in our spare bedroom. The bulb is of nice quality and fits the E27 holder. The light is suitable as a low medium warm white light is produced the effect is quite nice and produces a suitable glow, I like the filament element in the bulb. I note the bulbs are LED which means they are highly efficient in the light produced, economical in the light they provide as in low power consumption and longevity of the bulbs in lifespan is very good. Well worth the outlay in price for the return that you will get in both quality and efficiency longer term.

At just over two quid a bulb, I can't really fault these bulbs. The claimed life at 20,000 hours is more than most cheaper bulbs, they look good being glass with filaments and they come in a range of ES, SES and BC fittings. Would be good if you could dim, but you would expect to pay more for that. Light us warm and easy equivalent to 40w.
