Fun and educational
I bought this kit for a Christmas present for my 7 year old grandson so I can't write a review about how well it works yet. All I can say is that I was happy with the speedy delivery as it arrived a day earlier than expected and the box and all its contents were intact. I bought a blue crystal growing kit for my grandson last year and he really enjoyed watching the crystal grow, it was he who asked me if I would buy him a purple one for Christmas this year. I have no doubt that he will enjoy watching this crystal grow also.

Cool experiment
Cool experiment, but dont expect to keep the results, they are so fragile it fell to pieces just trying to get out of the glass

Just use ro water from a fish shop as it's better quality water
Did this yesterday with my little daughter and the crystals are already covering the rock. Can't wait till next week when we can empty the glass and see em. Just use ro water from a fish shop as it's better quality water.

Good way to learn your children about science and how things grow
Very good for the money my daughter did it as a school project for science she was over the moon with it

Looks great if you do it correctly
I have mixed feelings. It was a fun experiment (as an adult), and the result was beautiful. However, it was also very small, and so fragile that bits fell off just by picking it up. I think mine came out quite small because of it not being completely still (more to do with my flat than anything else), so I'd try it again. Just not sure if it's totally worth the money.

Impresionante - funciono de maravilla. Lo unico es que despues de hacer el cristal, hay que guardarlo en un sition donde no le de el sol para que mantenga su color. Pero de verdad era genial!

Very disappointing experience as there was no crystal even after two weeks! We were given a faulty and sub-standard product.
