Good Quality and Fit for Purpose - Needs Some Sort of Paper Tray
I bought this printer as a backup after my main printer developed a problem, with it in mind that I can also use it when away from home to scan, print etc. without relying on hotel facilities and WiFi. The printer was easy to set up and whilst I am often cautious about the invasive nature of HP software, the printer installed easily and the HP Smart app works well and actually found an older HP printer which is on my network. The printer is light and easy to carry and produces a good quality print and also pleasingly a good quality scan for a reasonable file size. You can adjust the outputs of both print and scan to suit your requirements. Only two minor negatives: 1) The software is a little glitchy if you select 2-sided printing - my experience is the printer driver loses the 2 sided dialogue after the first pass, so you have to start again and print the missing even or odd pages to populate the blank sides - not as hard as it sounds and I in fact mostly use the traditional route of printing odd pages then even, avoiding the 2 sided printing option altogether. I've not taken any stars off for this as you need to mess about with most mobile printers when working 2 sided anyway. 2) The second is a bit more of a surprise in such a well designed package in that there is no extending paper tray to catch the paper as it prints. There are clever slide out parts in all the other areas to help feeding paper in, each just big and wide enough to stop the paper falling about - but nothing similar to control the paper on the way out; all it would take would be a similar small extension which need not be full width, to control the paper. HP seem to have thought that you would only use the printer on a desk and would have the space available to allow the printer to spit the paper out onto the surface uncontrolled but clearly they haven't tried many real world scenarios, in hotel rooms and similar, where space, or convenience and speed, is at a premium; just a simple narrow extension, probably similar and as compact as the feed ones, would be enough to prevent everything falling onto the floor. As said above I've not taken stars of this because it's a really sound reliable unit, that isn't heavy, with lots of connectivity and that does the job well, just a bit of a shame testers don't think these practical aspects through. Otherwise for the cost and practicality, this is a super printer.

Fantastic Printer, would recommend.
A great little printer, so easy to set up. Not bulky for a small home office. Wireless connectivity was seamless.

Rage against the machine never specified which machine enraged them but it was probably a printer.
I bought this to replace another, cheaper HP all in one, which was HORRIBLE, disconnects, frustration, bad prints etc...all those usual infuriating things that happen to every person with printers and routers. So get my surprise when this HP machine, yes, the same brand...is essentially incredibly easy and practical. It runs off a battery, it's compact and it connected to PC and Phones in the same way air pods connect to an iPhone, i was waiting for something to go wrong and it just...didn't. You can be safe in the knowledge that this is probably the best home printer you can buy for connectivity. Cons: no exit tray on the printer, i can live with that, no big deal for me No flatbed scan...meh, again I can live with it. I say go for it, it's worth the extra money imo.

Stopped printing
Worked fine about twice, now fails to print anything readable despite having full cartridges. A total waste of money - and far out out of the warranty / return window, of course.

Mobile printer scanner copier from HP brilliant.
Brilliant little mobile printer scanner copier from HP well made works well very easy to set up and use no issues with WiFi prints very well very quickly and quietly copying works well although I have not tried to scan that looks more of a task, unfortunately HO only ever give you 1/4 filled cartridges so you need to order fast, but it’s a very nice machine, Iv had my current HP machine 12 years and it’s working fine I just needed a more compact model and this one’s great. 👍

So far so good... touch wood
My printer arrived with cartridges, cables, everything in the box so no complaints there. Following along an official 'how to set up' HP Officejet 250 mobile printer video I searched on Youtube, it took me less than 5 minutes to set it up connecting to Wi-fi, no issues there, very smooth. In order to avoid paper jamming as it often use to happen with my previous all-in-one, I bought a rather good quality paper no matter what I print: the Nuco Navigator Colour Documents - A4 Colour Printer Paper - Multi-Purpose Printer Paper - Photocopier Paper - White - 120gsm. With that Nuco Navigator paper so far everything has been printed out splendidly, crystal clear photo, illustrations as well as text out of various documents. No paper jamming either, very good quality paper that works perfectly well with the HP Officejet 250 mobile printer. I checked several reviews about the HP Officejet 250 mobile printer, some have had negatives due to connections or just months later the printer failing to do anything hence my review headline "So far so good... touch wood" as I hope this little jewel will last me longer than my previous, bulky, non-mobile HP all-in-one printer. I needed something smaller, not bulky as I don't have much space, a printer easy to carry around if needed. Also, I don't need to print stuff every single day that's why I opted for something easier to store away in a drawer than a bulky all-in-one or an even bulkier laser printer. Buying a protective case was the next step as I want to protect this printer from dust, also happy with the case I separately purchased here. Overall I would recommend this printer though I bought it about a month ago, so that's not long I have it but I have already used it several times, I am really happy with its quality. Hopefully this little printer shall be functioning efficiently for a while, in any case I can provide a later update.
