D Shackles 4 x 8mm Galvanised M8 x 640 Handy Straps

For starters, these shackles arrived dead on the first date quoted for delivery, so much impressed. I wanted these for a small project I am working on and they fit the bill very well. Cost-wise it was better than me driving into town, parking (costly..) and then having to buy a (minimum) pack of ten or six depending where I shopped - plus these seem quite solid manufacture-wise and yes, they work okay. These also included the postage, so quite a bargain but bearing in mind currently (April, 2020) our movements are restricted anyway due to the coronavirus situation, it means I can still keep my mind occupied while at home in 'isolation'. 5 stars easy

The problem was to raise bird feeders higher that the cat could leap, part of the solution was D shackles to help route the cord used for hanging the feeders together with lightweight pulleys. Ideal for use, probably a myriad of other uses too. The shackles are heftier than I had thought they would be and look like they could cope with a fairly substantial load.

Look week , but do the job

Quality product. Tough and up to the job. Would buy more if needed.

Very good for the for the price

Not bad for the price, but 1 of the 4 is bent. They will do their job I expect, they have just been made very quickly and without much quality inspection (probably in china) so be prepared to file off some sharp edges and/or bend them into shape so that the threaded holes line up

Used it to join up chain links to lift an old tree trunk. Worked perfectly. Most important was that they matched the picture and description.
