Been on a couple rides wearing and at this point think this was a great purchase. Jacket came well packaged and appear to be good quality. Bought as primarily spring and summer gear and although not worn in hot weather yet, ventilation appears to be as good as can expect. Warning on sizing - after thoroughly studying size chart I first bought a large although usually wear XL shirts. Large was too big! Pads did not sit properly and arms and shoulders fit too loose, so ordered a medium and much better fit for riding position. Good arm and lower back fit. A little tight waist, but I am still wearing a couple layers that will not be wearing in summer, and also am 65 (5'-11 200lbs) so my waist size is not where it was when I was 30. Bought red as have a red bike and high visibility is important to me when riding. So far good purchase.

Not bad for the price. Seems well made. Heavy zipper and adequate Velcro where used. The padding is rather thin (6mm) but for hot weather it's more than you'd have wearing a tee shirt! Today is July 24 and it is 90 degrees F. I opened package & tried the jacket on while sitting on the porch (in the shade) and for about 15 min. it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I could easily feel the occasional breeze through the jacket. Haven't rode with it yet but with constant air it should do fine. Other reviewers cautions about small sizing and no "tall" option prompted me to order the XL (I'm 6'5"/190). It's a bit baggy. Obviously Pakistani's think all Americans have a beer gut, (I don't!) but it's not unusably large. I'm keeping it. The extra 1/2" in the (XL) arms was probably worth it. The instructions have a picture of a hand & bucket seeming to indicate "hand washing." But they actually say "put in washing machine on gentle cycle..." It's 100% polyester inside and out so handle accordingly. Stay away from the exhaust! For the price of a couple tanks of gas (today!) I'm satisfied... so far.
