American Crew Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo 250ml

Recommended by my barber three years ago and regular use has given my hair a visible and tangible boost to my hair.

Shampoo leathers up well but I see no difference to my hair

Used the full bottle of this shampoo now. The plus points of this shampoo include that it smells great and still smells great after drying. The shampoo lathers up well, and makes hair feel clean and not heavy or weighed down.This was used on hair that is thinning and starting to show signs of hair loss. However, after using the full bottle there is no noticeable improvement. I understand there is often longer term use needed to see a difference but it is disappointing.

Update - 25/3. Ok, I'm hooked now. About to buy a bottle as the one I reviewed is running out. It lasted a long time and, importantly, really helped my hair out. I've pushed it up to five stars as, after a full two month trial, I am suitably impressed.I use a caffeine shampoo to help with hair growth as part of my head is beginning to feel draughts (to put it politely). Oh nature, why me? I was never massively blessed in the looks department before and now you want me to start adopting a comb-over! I am deluded enough to think a caffeine shampoo will be a miracle cure though it helps freshen the hair a bit. This anti-loss shampoo has slightly bolder claims and has a larger price tag to accompany it too. The first thing I will say is that, while it isn't cheap, not much is used to create a soapy lather on the scalp; a large pea-sized amount has been enough to cover my whole head so the economics work out quite well in the long run. The scent is subtle but quite nice and it is advisable to use it with the other American Crew products though I just used it on its own. I thought I'd give it a full month so that the review is fair and am happy to report that while it isn't going to turn you from billiard ball to Samson, it certainly seems to address hair loss. My hair is healthy and less brittle now and the areas where I experienced the most hair loss have improved. It is, of course, a long-term commitment, but so far it has impressed me enough to encourage a positive review. It's worth trying as my 250ml bottle should be lasting a couple of months at least, working out quite cost-effective.

Started to irritate my scalp after about 6 weeks of use. Bottles tend to leak on delivery too, supplied in a bag for this reason but still annoying.

I use this in conjunction with another shampoo, and it really does leave my hair lovely and silky smooth - I've also noticed less breakages with my hair than I used to have. A little goes a long way with this bottle, too; it lathers very easily, and thus you shouldn't have to replace a bottle anytime soon. It's definitely high quality, and has a lovely, lingering scent, too. Love it.

So far so good leave my hair feeling stronger has minty fells to it after couple uses less hair falls I will definitely continue use it more to see but for now I am happy with the product
