This is a great shampoo - the purple tone is very strong so wear gloves as can stain your hands. Results are great it completely removes yellow tones from my highlighted blonde hair. I will use this once every few weeks and it gives my highlights a nice refresh. I wouldn’t recommend using it too often as will turn you grey / silvery tones.

Well this is definitely a must have for blonde hair. Amazing.I can’t understand the bad comments, which could put some people off from purchasing.It works, 100%, without question. Maybe some people don’t know how to use it, but that’s not an excuse for a bad review. (When you use this product for so long and then read some of those comments, they’re actually amusing, as they just can’t be true.)If you have blonde hair/highlights/balayage it is the best at neutralising those orangey tones. Check all those before and after pictures, check their Instagram account!I don’t think it works on darker hair, that’s why they have a different shampoo for that.Having said that, I have dark roots and when I use it, it works on all my hair, not only the blonde bits.I have been using it for a few years. There are different ways to apply it. Usually, when I’m in the shower, I shampoo my hair once, rinse it, then apply a generous amount of Fanola (double the quantity of my regular shampoo). I massage it well, until it creates that foam and it becomes a lighter shade of purple. I bring all my hair up, like in a bun, and try to gather all the excess foam on the ‘bun’, as this holds the lighter ends of my hair. I leave it 5-10 mins, while I wash my body, then rinse it well (specially the scalp!), then condition as usual. I do this once a week maybe.Or, for more intense results, I apply it and get out of the shower, leaving it longer, maybe 20 mins. Then rinse and condition as usual.Works without fail.The results are amazing, colour doesn’t turn you hair into purple or blue (that means your hair is really damaged due to bleach, or you just haven’t followed the process right!!). Not to mention the smell, softness and the nice feel it gives to your hair! Feels like you’ve been to the hairdressers, honestly.It has been recommended to me by a hairdresser, I have recommended it to other people and would never buy another brand. I’m quite sure this is the best you can get.I have the 1L bottle, and lasts forever.I have to mention my hair is not in great condition either, but this product makes me forget about any split ends, thinning or hair loss.You will NOT regret buying this.

This would never leave my hair looking brassy. It was the best purple shampoo I tried that actually worked without having to leave it on for too long. However, if this was left on longer than 5 minutes it would tone my hair a purple shade & would stain my hands

I’ve been using the Fanola No Yellow Shampoo for about three washes now, and I’m quite impressed with the results so far! The shampoo has a lovely smell that’s not overpowering, which I appreciate. It’s a generous size, so you get a lot of product for the price.One thing to keep in mind is that it does leave purple stains on your hands if you’re not wearing gloves, so definitely remember to protect your hands.I have highlighted hair with some coppery orange tones, and this shampoo has made a noticeable difference in neutralizing those warm undertones. I’ve found that I don’t even need a conditioner after using it, which is a nice bonus for busy mornings.However, I haven’t noticed a lot of neutralizing of the coppery color so far, but I will continue using it and provide an update later. Overall, I’m happy with how it’s improved the color and kept my highlights looking fresh and vibrant.

One of the best purple shampoos i have tried. Massive bottle so think it will last a very long time. It will stain your hands if you forget to use gloves like I did but it will wash off after washing your hands a few times.

I LOVE the smell of Fanola, I use this to brighten my blonde once every 2/3 months. Although it does feel like it drys my hair out when rinsing, once dry my hair is soft again. This is a very pigmented shampoo, i do recommend using gloves when applying. I do also apply this to dry hair and leave it on for several hours when i fancy changing my blonde up to a soft lilac, it almost comes out as an ultra violet colour. It rinses out in several washes but a nice temporary change.

I bought this to help with the yellow tones in my hair.It arrived quickly and well packaged. It has a funny smell to it, but once washed out you can't really smell it.It lathers up nicely and makes the hair feel nice and clean.However, be warned ⚠️ wash it off really quickly, do not spend too much time applying this as it will turn you purple! If left on too long, it will dye your hair and hands!It did help with the yellow tones a little. Not sure I would buy this again.
