Great value for money! Great quality! Great affordability! It took a lot of financial courage to splash out on a quality double bed orthopaedic mattress during these cost of living crisis times. I would advise anyone with a bad back to take the plunge and buy it! It is wòrth every penny spent on it. A satisfied customer!

Very firm as stated, the edges support you when getting out of bed unlike some mattresses. A good buy. The delivery by AIT could have been better. I was told they didn't have enough capacity to deliver it on time so it arrived some days later. Noted that they said they hadn't received it in time to begin with so that was one day delay. For the record, ordered on Monday, received a message it would be delivered on Wednesday, a Thursday time slot was given (12am to 12am, not very helpful) which was then removed. I called on Friday and agreed to a Sunday delivery (got a message to confirm so not sure if it would have happened if I hadnt phoned) & we received it on Sunday morning.

I was looking specifically for a firm and supportive mattress, and this definitely delivers. It’s very comfortable, especially if you prefer a firm or even extra firm feel—unlike many others that claim to be firm but still feel a bit soft. Great value for the price as well. The only downside was delivery. I ordered 3 items (1 King and 2 Doubles), and they arrived separately with delays, which was a bit inconvenient. But overall, really happy with the product itself.

I strongly advise against buying this mattress. It is advertised as “super firm,” but this is completely misleading and not practical at all. The mattress was only firm on the very first day. After that, it quickly became soft and lost all the support it was supposed to provide. The spring quality is extremely poor. I even requested a replacement, but the same issue appeared again in less than two weeks. This clearly shows that the problem is with the product quality itself, not an isolated defect.

I suffer from spinal stenosis. I had ordered a couple of other back care mattresses from Amazon but let’s just say they were soft when described as firm. This arrived vacuum packed for easy movement. Unpacked on the bed and then seal air seal broken to let it expand. The mattress is firm as described, very well made and for myself who need the extra firm support and no roll together, I cannot fault this mattress. Well done Silentnight - my lesson learned buy a brand you recognise with proved quality that advertises their product simply and honestly.

Had this for a year now so think we can comment from a longer term perspective. At first it was ok, nice and firm and provided good support. After a year it's not so firm and has formed slight hollows where we lie. (We weigh 80 and 60kg respectively, so not putting the mattress under stress). We have turned it around several times but this has made little difference. Another issue is when your partner moves this transfers through the springs and you can end up bouncing around too. This is really annoys us and you can end up waking your partner. We bought it due to the number of great reviews. Had we left our review after a month or two it would have been a better one. Instead we are looking to replace it already. Our advice, save up and buy the best you can afford.
