Low profile, awesome
Got these with my Kiesel bass and I've used them for everything since. Top notch, super slim, reliable

Just perfect
Easy to use, super secure and look great. Most important I no longer fear dropping a guitar (too many dinks). And if you have more than one guitar, it is quick and easy to click your strap in/out, so you only need one active.

Solid great design. Piece of mind.
Easy to fit. Much more secure than the strap locks that came with the guitar.I have a Vintage V100. It comes with strap locks. They would always come loose. One day, I went into work in fancy dress as Slash. The original strap locks came loose and the guitar fell off it's strap. Thankfully, I was posing for a photograph, so was able to catch it and no harm done.A Vintage V100 is not an expensive guitar, but it's still not a guitar I want to risk breaking. As I had these Jim Dunlop strap locks installed on a different guitar, I ordered the same for this guitar the very same day I'd dropped it. I didn't want it happening when I was playing.Installation is simple. Unscrew screws holding old strap buttons on guitar and put new strap buttons on (you can either use the same screws or the ones that came with this new Jim Dunlop set). Then the remaining parts of the system fits either side of the strap hole and the horseshoe locks them in place so there is no chance of slipping. Solid design. This was the weak spot on the original strap locks on the guitar and the reason it came loose, it simply passed through the strap slot with no resistance. The horseshoe locks it in place, preventing it from happening. No chance of dropping the guitar now, and since it's has a fair weight to it, that's reassuring to know.

the best I have used
the screw has the same thread as fender strap buttonscirclip fitting will not come loose or disconnected from strap unlike other strap locks with nuts and screw on fittings. no small locking screw to become undoneflush or standard strap button mounts for guitar bodyball bearing fit allows easy rotation of strap and positive mount with extreme weight specsnote: only use supplied screws as the head is designed for correct fit in the strap button

Safe as houses!
After having almost lost my prized Gibson Les Paul on a number of occasions during gigs, thanks to the paucity of the Fender/Scaller strap locking system that I had fitted to the guitar (and most of my other guitars), I decided that I'd try this system after having it fitted to one of my basses and never having had a problem.I've fitted these to my Les Paul now and they are great! I had to drillout the screw holes of the old strap buttons ever so slightly first to get the supplied screws in far enough, but apart from that, these were a doddle to fit and I'm sure that I'll convert my other guitars now to the same system so that I can jump around on stage with confidence in future. :-)

You have to drill a bigger hole in your Guitar to mount it! regardless what make it is!
1.Its too expensive for most musicians for the price,2. It should come with the drill bit to mount the larger strap screw .This has to be ordered separately and some people would be possibly tempted use the original screw that will not fit ,and could break off!

BRILLIANT!!!
Straplocks are a definite must have for any guitar player of any level. The locks take about ten minutes to assemble, provided you have the right equipment, if not, it's still possible, but takes a bit longer.I love these because I now know that I can play without worrying that my guitar might fall off.The locks are very secure, they're certainly not going to come off, unless there's some sort of nuclear explosion. The item arrived on the first day that it said it might arrive (Wed-Fri, it came on Wed)Overall, a great product, and I would recommend this to anyone playing the guitar (electric, acoustic or bass)

magic loks
Amazing little buttons and its crazy how these things work compared with the other sister locks like design wise they are something quite special and functionality is where they really shine so the locking part of the whole package is how you'd expect built masterfully and rugged like per the norm with Dunlop / mxr stuff but to have the strap button also have function without the counterpart piece is something many other strap lock systems lack its basically an over sized Gibson button which without the opposite part still keeps you smiling as just a strap button so all in all a very good little piece of kit :)

The industry standard
I'm starting to get back into playing and researched strap locks for my new bang around guitar. I expected to find something that has toppled the Jim Dunlop strap locks in the many years I've been gone but in my research nothing else seems to be as robust. Installation on the guitar is easy, and depending on your strap, you may have to clearance the openings in the leather a bit for the beads to fit through. But overall, these are still the best strap locks you can buy.

Works with or without strap locks
High quality. Really good. Will put on most of my other guitars. Works with locks or with with a regular strap without locks. Spend extra on these . They are worth it.
