Aqua Elegante 3 Inch High Pressure Shower Head - Best Pressure for Wall Mount, Adjustable Showerhead - Chrome

Having just received this item as a replacement I installed it with consummate ease within less than I minute, I really did appreciate the free issue of plumbers tape which I also used, a nice gesture. My system benefits from a direct water feed and therefore have really good pressure and having tested the fit I am well satisfied with this nice bit of kit which does the job perfectly and really good value for money. However I noticed that many other comments on this item referred to the need to remove the water control mechanism and was looking forward to see how, if at all, it made any difference to my shower experience but contrary there were no instructions how to do this, despite the many comments they were easy to understand. Can anyone help?

Easy to screw on to a standard UK fitting. Great spray after removing the flow restrictor. Starts to clog up in my hard water area after a few weeks of use. A vinegar soak removes the calcium build but the 'special flow' design doesn't stop it building up. After about 9 months use the rubber nozzles deteriorate and start to split so the spray deteriorates significantly and the head needs replacing. I like the spray so change mine once a year and can't be bothered to return it under the 5 year guarantee.

Our old shower head was looking tired and so we replaced it with this product. The system is gravity fed and so we removed the flow restrictor as suggested in the instructions. A little bit fiddly but nothing too difficult. The unit threaded onto the old pipe using the PTFE tape provided and we have had no problems with leaks. It was easy to do this just by twisting it on the pipe threads by hand which is good because you don’t want to scratch the shiny chromed surface with a wrench. Once fitted the ball joint means that you can move the head easily and it is a big improvement on our old one. All very shiny and gleaming and works well..

With the restrictor, the flow was a bit.. meh. As soon as the restrictor was removed, it was a lovely flow of water. I'm all for large rain heads, bit with lower water pressure in the upstairs bathroom, the 9 and 6 inch shower heads weren't cutting it at all. This smaller 3 inch head is fantastic, I'm so pleased! Easy and quick to fit with the included PTFE tape, highly recommended!

Shower head worked well when i installed it. It comes with a 5 year guarantee. When i tried to take it to clean it the plastic nut broke in my hand. I have emailed the company and have had no response from them. I now have a shower head I cant use.

Shower head is OK. Bought it specifically to remedy low flow/pressure in my daughters flat. No instructions provided on how to remove the flow limiter. Also couldn't find the instructions on-line. Tried to help my daughter to (remotely via video call) remove it. She managed to remove the filter with a bit of difficulty but couldn't get the limiter out so she just had to replace the filter and use it as is. The result was a bit underwhelming, particularly as it was advertised as being able to "blast out water at an incredibly high pressure.." and that " our flow restrictions are easy to remove, and we tell you exactly how to do it"...none of which is true.

Easy to fit and it works effectively. Narrower head than I expected but provide a good concentrated stream of water in the shower.
