Great value-for-money bottle cage for all purposes
My previous cage, one of the slightly-malleable metal varieties broke after over a year of use, and this was one of the cheapest looking sturdy ones. It's been really good so far, and I would definitely recommend it. It holds cans very well, and the wrap-around section keeps them sturdy. It holds bottles (tried up to 800ml, but with the standard 3" base of 500mls, the manufacturer seems to claim 0.7-1.0L on "tall but narrow" bottles ) also very well due to the high placement of the wrap around. Despite it being plastic, it's a thick / dense sort, so weirdly I trust it more than the old thin metal one.It DID however, come adjusted in the" handle-bar mount" configuration. The quick process to detach the adapter and turn it into a normal bottom-frame cage required an exceptionally small hex (4mm) I didn't happen to have; so keep this in mind if ordering as a frame cage.

Great range available on the clamp size. Worth the cost.
My wife and I both use this bottle cage as there are no mounting holes for conventional cages. Mine is fitted to the handlebar, my wife's to the stem. Rock solid fit, two completely different sizes. Great product.

Great bottle cage for handelbars
Used this bottle cage for a couple of years on the handlebars of my dual suspension mountain bike & it stayed clamped on tightly & held my bottle fine even over rough trails - have now been using it for the last 4 months on front suspension only mountain bike fitted onto the frame tube with bog standard bottle holder bosses & it works fine - strong & sturdy great cage with a long life span - but it is a little heavy when attached to handlebars because of the weight of the handlebar attachment clamp - also if you have a bike with two sets of bottle bosses & wanted to fit 2 bottle cages - 1 on each set of bosses - then this style of cage does not allow enough room to fit a bottle down into the second cage! Very recommended item.

Very badly designed, doesn't work properly
Looks OK to begin with, but on closer examination this has been really badly engineered. The clip material is slippery so it doesn't grip. They provide a horrid little bit of rubber which is supposed to help but it's not up to the job. The quick-release clamp design is one of the worst examples of "drag and drop engineering" I have ever seen. The basic principle of the clamp is OK but the shape has not been properly designed so it's a pig to screw up, then the quick-release part does not apply enough force/movement to get a proper grip. So the drinks holder ends up sagging loosely on the handlebars. As an engineer I have taken it apart and replaced the clamp end with a socket head 50mm M5 stainless steel screw, which can be tightened using an Allen key, but they have not designed the lower end correctly either so the screw does not fit properly through the slot at the bottom, which needs to be enlarged - made wider and longer. Overall, it looks as though someone slapped this designed together in a spare half hour but nobody's ever spent the necessary time and effort to get it right before shovelling it out to the punters. I guess the calculation is, make a quick profit, less a percentage for those who can be bothered to send it back for refund. Not impressed.

Bicycle drinks cage
Having bought drinks holders for both my children's bikes I was unable to fit the one to my daughters. There was insufficient space. This holder is ideal, it fits in a variety of places, including the handlebars, seems very robust, securely holds the bottle and is ideal for girls bikes where there may be limited space to mount a conventional holder. I have also borrowed it for when I go on longer rides. I have used two different bottles and both fit well.I am very happy indeed with this bottle cage.

poorly designed
There are 4 design problems with this item:1. The clamp is too far from the cage. This creates a 23mm gap between the frame (or seatpost or handlebar) and the cage. The problem is, if you are attaching this to the frame (which is what most people will do) now the second bottle pushes against the first bottle. Therefore you have to attach this cage higher. But when you do that, there isn't enough room anymore to take the bottle out from this cage. I have a large size hybrid bike and I have a 500ml bottle for this cage and I can just take the bottle out but not so easily. I will have to switch bottles. If you have a 750ml bottle for this cage, it will not fit to the frame as a second cage no matter what size your frame is. Also I think even if you have a 500ml bottle for this cage, it will not fit in as a second cage if your frame is small.I suggest that you buy an item sold by amazon and not private seller so you can return it easier.2. The clamp has a thumb press screw as you see in the pictures but because it is poorly designed, when you want to take it off, after you pull it you can't detach this thing. You still have to turn the screw. This means next time you attach it you will have to turn the screw to the exact distance again. If it is not exactly the same it will be either too lose or too tight when you try to close it.Have a look at this following item to see how a clamp should be designed:MINOURA BH100 Cage Holder 22-29mmThat clamp by Minoura never needs adjusting. It has a screw to adjust the diameter but you set it only once and then the setting remains forever no matter how many times to put it on/off. I have a smartphone holder by Minoura and it uses the same clamp. It works great.3. After it is attached, it isn't too stable. They could have put some non slip material to the clamp but they didn't. It is just hard plastic trying to grip the frame. Therefore no matter how much you try to fasten it, it is doesn't.4. It weighs 147 grams. This should have been under 100g.This item was designed by an idiot. The only good thing about this item compared to a DIY solution is that you can attach this only when its needed and don't have it on when it isn't.
