The hinge that prevents the top from slamming close unexpectedly is extremely fragile infact it will break very fast. This creates a situation where if the child opens the top and is grabbing toys it will slam shut unexpectedly. My childs finger got slammed 🥺

Me pareció muy bonito en cuanto lo vi, no es complicado para armar, se toma alrededor de una hora ensamblarlo, las piezas están identificadas, lo cual resulta útil a la hora de colocarlas, pero el material no resulto de buena calidad, se rompe con facilidad, la bisagra de seguridad vino defectuosa, lo cual hizo que quebrara la madera, me da mucha tristeza, ya que estaba tan contenta y emocionada.

The furniture is just so cheap. This will likely not last more then a year at best. The top hinges were ripped off by the soft closing hinge because the connection with the top is made by small screws that are easily ripped out by it.

Very easy to assemble. It was exactly what I expected!!

Overall I think this is a nice looking and sturdy toy chest. It’s nice that it has a cushion seat for sitting. I did notice that the cushion has a little wiggle room from the foam that’s placed on the board, and the fabric that’s wrapped around it. It’s secure, just not a tight upholstered cushion.You only need a Philips screwdriver to assemble. And it says not to use a drill. Assembly was pretty easy, even with just one person. It says 40 minutes with two people, on my own it took me just a little longer.There was one spot where there is something that need to be tightened, and my screwdriver wouldn’t fit. So you need a short Philips screwdriver to get that one piece.The lid shuts nicely, and won’t shut on its own or slam down on your fingers unless someone slams it. And even then, most of the space where it comes down on is open, only a couple inches on each side where your fingers could be holding that then would be smashed if the lid closes. But like I said, you would have to have someone slam it for it to actually hurt.The storage chest part is about 9 inches deep, 14.5 inches front to back, and 30 inches wide.And the openings on the bottom are both about 6x15 inches.
