Amazing amazing amazing miracle working stuff!!!
So my son had a peculiar spot arise on his cheek and me being me thought it was JUST a spot gave it a squeeze and nothing. It appeared over night! Left it alone and left it alone and it stayed for weeks then another one appeared. I thought maybe it’s just a hard spot or boil. It then out of no where spread like wildfire so I started googling and came up with Molluscum. I took him straight to a GP who told me they were skin tags. I asked to see someone else for a second opinion who told me it was molluscum - I was told to leave them alone they gone on their own after about 18 months. Well we waited and waited till the point they spread all over his chin, cheek, two on his eye lids, his neck was covered and we could count 40+ spots. My heart broke everyday for him. His friends started asking questions and some made fun (kids older). I then managed to get him a hospital appointment after 6 months from Seeing the last doctor. When we seen the dermatologist they said they could Scalpol them out which is very painful and would leave scars or they could try and freeze them off ( like they do with warts and veruccas) I said we could try freezing them. Bearing in mind my son had over 50+ spots by this time and the area they are on (neck) is very senstive to the freeze spray. They managed to one and he was screaming in pain and was trying to scramble out the room, he was 8 years old and for him of this age to be doing that I politely declined to pin him down and them do any more. So we went home feeling defeated. I felt like there was no hope left so on a whim on the drive home from hospital I ordered Molludab. I thought it was expensive but at this point I’d try anything for my baby. After waiting two weeks to see the results of the freeze spray from the hospital- I will say now THE FREEZE SPRAY DIDNT WORK!! The dermatologist applied this at the hospital and it just burnt and bruised the surrounding skin. It didn’t touch the spots so not worth the pain. I applied it morning and night making sure I only touched the spots with the chemical as it burns the normal skin (irritant) I did this for maybe a month and all of sudden you could see his immune system started attacking the spots. They started so swell and look red and sore and then they would just go! I couldn’t believe it and within maybe 2 weeks they were all completely gone not one left. It says not to use on the eyes but I read that if one spot is left behind then it will spread again so extra precaution was took and I got the one right next to his tear duct (made sure I only used a tiny bit) I will say that the applicator is very hard to apply to the spot so you need really good light to see the you have got the spot wet. You need to shake the bottle with the applicator inside every few spots to wet the applicator again. Don’t apply to spots that are open or really red / sore (these spots are already going away) Near the end applying it got sore and he wanted to rub it but you need to persevere it goes away after a minute or two. It’s not nice but it needs to be done . Honestly this is worth the money but u can’t forget to apply it or it won’t work. Twice a day morning and just before bed. The picture shows the first spot reacting to the Molludab and then it was a dream thereafter completely spot free and the scarring is nearly gone too and it’s been about a year now

Waste of money & time. Distressing for your baby
Waste of money. Comes as a clear liquid with a plastic applicator that needs to be dipped in. Firstly the container is too tall so difficult to dip applicator in the fluid without tilting it, so then it needs to held in the other hand making the whole process slow & awkward. Easily spilt as you try to do this and it comes in such a tiny volume (literally 1 or 2mls) that any spillage means you don't have enough to dip into. Then it's hard to see if you actually have any of the liquid on the applicator so as you try to dab the molloscum you need to repeatedly dip into which as stated earlier requires at least two hands and is very impractical. It's difficult to get the liquid just on the lesions, there is either not enough or too much which means to goes onto normal skin and as it's so irritant it causes nasty burns. Add a wriggling baby or toddler to the equation and it is impossible to pally effectively and without burning your little one. Poorly thought out product. The formulation needs to be changed so that it is a thick coloured consistency that is applied using a fine pipette. Molloscum is a nightmare especially when it spreads widely and I would happily pay a premium for anything that works. I hope the manufacturer deals with these fundamental issues appropriately!

6 weeks, 100 bumps gone!
My 7 yr old daughter caught it from a friend last summer. She had 3 bumps on her knee which the dr said would disappear over time. After a tonsillectomy in October, there were bumps appearing constantly, by Christmas she had nearly 100, which had spread up her body gradually to her shoulders. She had a patch of around 40 in her groin and inner thigh that had hardly any skin between them. Back and forth to the gp who just prescribed fucidin for the most angry ones. Over Christmas one appeared under her chin. That was when I decided enough is enough! I didn't want them to spread onto her face. So I bought the molludab. 6 weeks later she is totally molluscum free, and we are just left with new red skin that I am sure will fade over time. I really regret not buying it before and am telling all my friends about it so that if they ever find a bump on their child, they can treat it with 1/2 dabs rather than 6 weeks of treatment twice a day. It is SO SO much easier if you catch them straight away when the bump is tiny, wait even just a couple of days and they take ages to go. So this was our routine:- Treat morning and night. 1.Either shower(not bath as it spreads the virus) and dry with a hairdryer to avoid spreading the virus with a towel, or if it's not a shower day then wipe the areas(except intimate areas and open sores) with anti bac gel. The gel does sting but I put it on and then dabbed it off with tissue straight away, being careful not to use the same tissue. Sometimes bumps have burst and the virus is on the skin, I found using the anti bac gel made a huge difference in stopping the spread. 2. Use the molludab on any new bumps and bumps you can see have the white virus in. I used my phone light to check the bumps were wet with the molludab. Don't ever pop them, it delays the healing and I found the ones I popped early on actually filled back up. 3. Don't put molludab on ones that look very angry, we used tea tree cream on those ones, tea tree cream never worked for us before we bought molludab, but once the bump has been treated with molludab so much that you darent put any more on, but it hasn't popped yet, we found the tea tree cream finished the job and helped healing. 4. Cover every bump that hasn't popped or has just popped. We found the bumps leaked after we thought they had stopped, so it's worth keeping them covered until they start to heal. Definitely cover the bumps that haven't popped. Covering them seems to help them come to a head and pop, and contains the virus so it doesn't spread. Some will get so angry it's scary, we put a blob of fucidin on those before covering them. Our daughter is allergic to plasters, so we used micropore tape and gauze, which allowed us to cut to size. It was good for allowing her skin to breathe, as it was covered a lot! It stuck well in intimate areas and didn't bother her as its soft. And you don't get black sticky rings that won't come off like you do with plasters :) 5. We are using bio oil to fade the red marks that have been left, they are disappearing really well, even one that was the size of a penny and had multiple white heads inside it, is now just a red mark about 3mm in diameter. 6. Clean pyjamas every day, clean clothes every day, if she wore one set for 2 hours and got hot and changed, the clothes went straight in the wash. It's a pain but worth it. Change bedding every other day. Clean towel every time. Wear clothes and pjs that cover up all the bumps. Warning- it does hurt. Allowing my daughter to watch YouTube while we put the molludab on was our saviour. That was a massive treat for her as she isn't usually allowed it and so it motivated her to even ask for 'molluscums time'!! Only one week was it so painful for her that we cut to putting molludab once a day on the most important bumps, and just did the rest of the routine. FINALLY!! Avoid doing anything like swimming that will spread it to other people as much as you can. It's a horrible virus and I so wish people would be more responsible in ensuring their children don't spread it. I am so glad to be at the end of this and just wish I had known about molludab earlier!
