I use this dehydrator for drying herbs and is on most days this time of the year. It is very quiet (which was unexpected), very easy to use and hugely successful with a variety of plants. It is well worth the price!

Initially the product was just what I wanted. Sadly I've now had 2 of these machines and both have been faulty within 4 months of very little use. I find them to be totally useless and await response over second machine. I've lost count on how much meat I've had to destroy

We bought this to replace a plastic one that was still working but the trays were disintegrating. We decided that it was worth paying a bit more for one with steel trays and more again for the larger model which has the extra feature of a timer. We were not disappointed. This is a fantastic machine! It's quiet, well-built and fast - the old one took 14 hours to make beef jerky but this one does it in half the time. We use all the trays, too, so we are happy that we made the right purchase. My advice is get one. If you don't want to leave it running overnight but feel you don't need the larger capacity of the 8-tray then the smaller version without the timer will be okay for you if you start it at least 7 hours before you go to bed. Also, it may be helpful to be aware of the size of the 8-tray, which is slightly larger than a standard microwave oven!

Great for fruit and veg drying. Easy clean and easy to set up the many drying programmes.

I don't normally leave review but after my cheaper purchase different make it invested in this one not sure I'd done the right thing I am blown away it's quiet it does the job quicker the end result is perfect I'm so happy with my new machine It's really true You get what you pay for I'm use mine for drying liver chicken for dog treats it's fantastic Sharon

Faulty and doesn't work. Timer and temperature can't be reset at all!!!

Really good at its job. We use it for beef jerky, fruit leather, parsnip crisps, carrot crisps, apple crisps, mango, pineapple, kiwi, and mushrooms. But it is quite a big unit - it doesn't fit into any of our kitchen cupboards.
