Phantom Aquatics Speed Sport Mask Fin Snorkel Set with Mesh Bag, Adult

My uncle was a professional diver and I grew up on/in the water. This is a nice set for beginners and it is so great to show my niece the wonders of the underwater world. The mask seals well and fins are a good size to give mobility without being so big they cause cramps. Don't underestimate the importance of fins or buy a mask/snorkel without them. Fins take a bit of getting used to but you can't truly enjoy snorkeling without them.Side note, to see if a mask fits / seals properly move the strap to the front and press the mask against your face. Mask should stay in place and you should be able to move your head up/down & side to side. If you can't even get the mask to stay on your face without the strap, return it, it will leak in the water. Even though a child's face will change as they grow the basic shape of their face does not and a good mask should fit for several seasons.

I purchased two sets for my two kids (12 years old and 10) and I am very pleased. The sizes in the description are shoe sizes so I ordered large for both of them. I am impressed with the quality of this product. The fins and mask are very easy to adjust and the snorkel works well. I really feel I received a quality product for the price.

Yes, these sets are more expensive than the discount store version, but the quality is SO much better. We took these on vacation to Punta Cana, and my girls used them every day. We didn't have the usual problem with leaky masks, as the US DIvers masks have a soft plastic outer seal that works really well. My girls, 5 and 10, haven't completely gotten the hang of the breathing tubes, but they will, with time. We look forward to using these at the pool this summer too. The carrying case is handy too.

We bought this for our 4 year old daughter to prepare for an upcoming trip to the Galapagos. She has thus far used it in the tub and the local pool. No problems at all. Mask seals well, yet the attachment for the snorkel to the mask could have more pivot to it, and this is the reason for the 4 star rating.

Purchased this set for grand kids 5 and six years of age. These cost a bit more than less expensive Wal- mart sets, but they are in fact funtional. There is enought strap adjustments for them to use them into their teens. The material used to make these set, is soft and pliable, allowing for a good seal on the mask and comfort with the fins and snorkel. They are worth the extra cost.

I had been searching for good quality Snorkle gear for my granddaughters aged 4 and 6. This REALLY fits the bill. It is professional quality, not a"toy". I will be quite comfortable that this gear will not fail my girls. As far as comfort is concerned, this set is soft and pliable compared to lesser gear, which is stiff and hard. I love this product, as it makes snorkeling much more fun for the kids.

good mask -- much softer and easier seal than cheaper masks--the fins are working too so far although we are just starting out--good first pair of fins--my daughter is 7 and has been snorkeling for a year in a lesser quality mask--often kids get attached to things --no problem with this replacement --it is more comfortable. very decent

this was a good beginners set.the bag was handy love the girl color for my goddaughter.foot strap broke the second week of use.
