Troublesome and irritating
Received the product yesterday, hence unable to see its effect on rats. However, at the settings recommended by the manufacturer, the sound emanating from the machine can be heard by humans, pet animals ( cats and dogs ) and is irritating and gets frustrating, to say the least. When volume is reduced to level below human hearing ( children can hear a larger range than adults ), the pets can still hear it and get distressed. Can't imagine what long term negative effect it may have on hearing capabilities. Need to return it for full refund.
