Fun in the kitchen together
This cookbook is adorable. Well written in full sentences a kid will understand with lots of fun show references! The pages are laminated enough that it’s wipeable. See the greasy butter mess I wiped off Muffin. We had a GREAT time tonight making fairy bread. The only complaint I have about the content is that Aunty Mary’s dressing recipe is lackluster. Just olive oil and balsamic vinegar. But that’s minor. I love that the recipes are doable for the show’s target audience. (I don’t know what other reviewers are on about: there’s 13 simple recipes. My kids can do them, with adult guidance. Yes, it looks like Bingo is cooking, not Gordon Ramsay. But really, this is the beauty of *learning* to cook!) Once we got past the fish and chips, the pages are all out of order. See two other pages between the Pavlova recipe. Hm. I’m hoping this is a one-off and that the whole production isn’t botched. Will update once I receive a replacement.

Only 13 recipes, cute as a book
First my daughter loves this cookbook. She'd give it 5 stars. She's 7 and since it was a gift for her maybe it deserves all the stars. I love that the book is able to be wiped off. And I love that we know what episodes these recipes come from. It's not so much a cookbook as it is slightly silly to read the step-by-step and make cooking together fun. I wouldn't recommend to anyone that hasn't watched the show. Some reasons for not full stars is that the recipe for Pavlova doesn't include a pavlova recipe, only decorating/serving suggestions. Also, with so few recipes only 5 are a trifficulty rating of "1 fork" and even then most of those 5 would require quite a bit of help by a mum or big blue guy. A couple of the recipes hardly count as recipes, like pouring orange juice into a popsicle mold or cutting potatoes and fish into sticks and cubes and baking in the oven. Both those "recipes" could've be jazzed up even a little. Again, as a cookbook it's lacking, but the directions for these recipes are silly and make the cooking experience fun even if I may need to use a real cookbook or deviate from the ingredients. My daughter loves it so that's a win.

Perfect for aspiring little cooks and their mom (or dad) helpers.
Gave this to my grandson and daughter-in-law. He's still too young for the kitchen, other than putting sprinkles onto cookies (or everywhere but the cookies!), so he'll have to grow into this; but the book itself is very well done and includes recipes from several of the episodes. The omelet that Bingo helped make for Dad's birthday. The cupcakes from Shadowlands. Nana's ice blocks. And even the most well-known food item from the entire series, pavlova. Plus more. It's a shame the pages are going to be splattered upon, it's almost a work of art how they did it.

A mi peque le encanta Bluey, así que le gusta por el simple hecho de contener las imágenes de Bluey. Las recetas no son demasiado atractivas y me parece caro dada su utilidad, pero es lo que valen los libros de este personaje.

Bought this for my 7 year old bluey fan. It's great as you can write in it also and make your own menu it has helped him to try new foods which is great for a fussy eater. We've made the ice cream which is delicious and the spring rolls which are great

This is a fun little cookbook with recipes from the Bluey TV show. Not only did our daughter actually start eating omelets after getting this book she actually likes joining us in the kitchen to cook. The kids also like using it as a menu while playing restaurant. The pages are all made of a whiteboard wipeable material so if it gets dirty in the kitchen it's easy to clean and also you can check items off the list using a whiteboard marker as you're cooking.
