Awesome NWOBHM, this is heavy metal
Perfect album, heavy metal as it should be, unique album, great band, awsome artwork. The whole album is one big highlight, great songs and riffs, no fillers. This album could and should be played in a loop.Top tracks are: 'Trial by Fire', 'Break Free', 'Dark Side of Innocence' and 'No Turning Back'.Any heavy metal fan should own it, the high level of british heavy metal. It's not recommend, you must have it. Enjoy!

I finally Court it!
I've long since been chasing this album since I first discovered Satan's music through youtube and seen their albums on sale at my local HMV. I missed the opportunity to pick up their debut re-issue as there was only a limited number of copies out there, and the store at my end were too reluctant to make a special order. It's a must have album if you love NWOBHM and thrash metal. My only reasons for giving it four stars is that the mix could've been a bit better and a bit tighter. The album doesn't seem that loud at first you have to crank the knob a bit more. It seems like it's an original mix with better bit mastering. Their demo compilation Early Rituals had a much better mix and captures the essence of the band much better than Court in the act, and has more replay value. Album is a little short as their is no bonus content, there are bootleg versions that have this. I chose this copy as it's the most recent official copy out there. All the songs sound amazing. I recommend purchasing Early Rituals if your new to Satan because not only is it cheaper but you get to see how they developed over the first decade.
