Melissa & Doug always know how to make interesting and sturdy toys. Never yet been disappointed. Bought this back in July for my 2 year old and its been thrown, played with constantly, garage doors have been up and down more times than I can count and its still going strong. Not a defect in sight! My son loves putting the vehicles in the right garage and using the keys to lock and unlock the doors. Definitely helped his hand - eye co-ordination. He still plays with it every day, chooses this over electronic or character toys and the carry handle means we can easily take it in the car or pushchair with us too. Attention to detail is great as the design goes around each wall of the garage. Only thing I would say it's quite heavy and it would have been nice to have abit of padding or rubber gripper on the handle because its just metal & it hurts his hand to hold for longer periods of time. Hes becoming quite independent and wants to do things for himself. Other than that very happy with this toy!

My son aged 21 months absolutely loves the vehicles provided.Arrived earlier than estimated.Nice storage box and simple designs which are easily identified as to what the vehicle is.Child safe as wheel parts look sturdy. I wish I had taken video of son opening his package as it was an amazing reaction to see his favorite vehicles, like the school bus, bulance and fire engine.Thank you for making our day as he had hours of fun and hopefully more to come.

This well made toy has masses of play value, articulated lorry with lowering upper deck, and 4 cars to play with. One possible note of caution is the slight chance of little fingers getting pinched as the transporter deck is lowered, but kids have to learn about such things and if they were only allowed to play with totally safe items they would never learn anything. That said my great nephew is very pleased with this toy set and his parents totally approve of wooden toys so everyone is happy. Another boon is that the cars fit the gauge of his wooden train set. Finally the price seems very good to me.

Absolutely love this and so does my 3ry old grandson.Well made, great quality and safe .Perfect toy for 3yr old, encouraging imaginative play, thinking and communication .Definitely recommend.

This truck is great as a gift for lil ones, the material is proper wood and it has a good size for little hands. Said that, my only concern is safety, my son had one of those which broke and didn't stay up anymore so we had to get him a second truck because where it broke there was a sharp corner as of the cut of the piece was badly designed.

I confess: I bought this toys primarily because of its good looks and reasonable price, thinking our 1 year old might be too young to enjoy it.Indeed, for the time being, he likes to throw the truck & transporter around, but he will play more quietly and for longer periods of time with the little cars. This set has been kicked and thrown around the flat a lot, we have also stepped on the cars a few times at night... yet it shows no signs of wear so far.It's eye candy for us, good fun for our son, and I plan to buy more from that range soon.

My 18 month old loves this toy and will spend hours playing with it working out the folding mechanism. You can bring the top row down to drive the cars on which he loves doing. It feels sturdy and has so far withstood the knocks and bangs that it has received. I am also using it to introduce my son to colours as each car is different. The only minor niggle is that my son finds it hard to carry round as it is in two parts and will often come apart when he lifts it but he should get better at this as he gets older. Overall I thought this was great value for a well made and interesting toy.

Amazing quality & the storage box it arrives in is a lovely added touch! Purchased for my 21 month old son who is car obsessed. He takes one of the cars wherever we go!
