Excellent value.
My 2009 Focus was purchased with only one key which didn't have a remote function. So I purchased This just for the remote. It works very well. If I can find someone to cut the key at a non-extortionate price I will have this done as I have the tools to program it. Otherwise it serves the purpose I bought it for.

Value for money, useful if you can program the keys yourself!
Need a replacement key/electronics? This is for you. Comes with the key body, a blank blade, the RCL electronics board and switch, a battery, and the immobiliser chip. You will need to program the chip inside the key, or swap it out for one that is already recognised by your car immobiliser. The key also comes with a battery.Key is of good quality plastic/metal blade material, however careful opening the key to change the battery as the internal little clips are unfortunately very weak and snap off. The remaining clips hold the key together though! For programming, you can use Forscan (get a free extended licence via the website), and a compatible diag cable.

Be warned: I found it impossible to transfer the chip!!
It is easy to transfer the key bar, battery and circuit board into this new key and to open up the compartment to see where the transponder chip needs to go. But when I tried to remove the chip from my Ford original everything was so tightly glued together I needed a hacksaw just to see the chip (circled in red on the pic). I could still start the car by holding this wrecked piece next to the new chipless key but by the time I finally managed to cut the chip out it must have been damaged and didn't work. It is a shame the two parts of the old and new key almost fitted together but wouldn't quite lock into place, if they had done that I wouldn't have tried to move the transponder at all.

Avoid does not have the chip needed to start your car!!
I switch my old car key while out and when it was ready for me to start the car, I turned the key and absolutely nothing happened. I was forced to join the R.A.C and had to fork out over £80 for a call out. The R.A.C guy tried everything and finally he realised the key was missing a chip! Luckily I still had the old key so he replaced it with that and the car started. It is also of very poor quality it comes apart in pieces when trying to turn the ignition on. Please save yourself money and hassle.

Great value for money
Bought this and it arrived the next day thanks to Prime. I transferred the circuit board from the old key and it clipped straight into this one. I also transferred the small 'transponder' chip located near the front of the old key (which is easy to miss) and it fitted perfectly into this key. Finally I went to Timpsons to get the blade cut for which they charged me £10. Key works a treat, fully functional buttons and starts the car with no issue. Highly recommend this key. All in all, I've paid £17 for a brand new key which has saved me well over a £100 buying it from Ford. Another point, my one did come with a Ford sticker too. I also transferred the small 'transponder' chip located near the front of the old key (which is easy to miss) and it fitted perfectly into this key

Decent item does the job
It's very good, an accurate copy of the Ford one. To make this work as a replacement for a damaged key, you need to open up your old key and transfer in the blade, the transponder (top section) and the unlock chip and battery (bottom section). The new key was a delight to put together, the biggest challenge for me was getting transponder out of the old key.
