I really love this jacket. The synthetic leather feels high quality and looks very stylish. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and warm enough for cool weather. Disclosure: I'm on my third attempt at buying this jacket, but that's on me. First and foremost, this jacket runs small. Amazon recommended a medium for me, so I first got the large (in the charcoal version) but found that while it fit, it's too snug and isn't likely to work well once I have heavier clothing on underneath. I reordered an XL but I changed to the "black" version. It's important to note there are some style differences between the two styles. Charcoal: has decorative pockets on the chest, includes extended sleeves (sweatshirt material) complete with thumb-holes, has a normal collar. Black: no pockets on the chest, no extended sleeves, and the neckline is a short straight collar without folding. None of this makes the black version bad, but it's just a matter of personal preference. Anyway. I've reordered the charcoal version as an XL and think that this will be great. For whatever size Amazon recommends for you, I'd go up two sizes. It seems like it will be a solid jacket for late fall, early winter. There are two zippers -one interior zipper for the sweatshirt type material, then the exterior zipper for the faux leather part. For length, it comes down just over my hips (I'm 5'2", so your mileage may vary). This won't be a subzero weather jacket, but after experiencing many winters, I think it'll be fine for 35F + . I think it looks nice, and I'm looking foreard to wearing it. PS: it's definitely fake leather, but has a nice appearance.

Love the Jacket! The sizing is off a little so thats why the 4 star. I bought a large at first but had to return and size up due to having broad shoulders. There's a little more green than expected from the picture. Love the fit though, it's decent weight wise. I think it looks great. I have already purchased another color

I bought one of these jackets eight years ago, and really, really liked it. To be fair it wasn’t the best quality (the zippers tended to get stuck shut), but I liked the look and fit and it held up well. I wore it probably twice a week, across three continents, and in all kinds of weather. Then, all at once, a few months ago, the faux leather started to irrevocably flake off. I came back to buy another and saw in the reviews that it is now branded as Lock & Love and not Made by Johnny. Unfortunately, it’s not quite the same. The images show the old Made by Johnny jacket on the left, next to the new Lock & Love version of the jacket on the right. Despite a very similar pattern and hardware, there are some differences. Both are XS, but the new jacket is slightly longer and larger. The new jacket has an added hook loop (great!), and a tag warning about lead exposure (mildly concerning). The older MBJ jacket is also “black” but has some dimensionality and variation in color, a matte-ish dark gray that’s almost a denim look. There’s more texture, especially around the seams, and the stitching uses a thicker thread and is neater, with fewer loose threads. The new L&L version is very flat, both in construction and color, with almost no gathering at the seams and a shiny dark black finish. The look is still good, but what concerned me enough to return the L&L jacket is that the material is different and I don’t think it will be durable or wear well. In one of the photos I show the buttonhole at the cuffs: the PU fabric on the MBJ jacket is uniformly dark, so even once the coating started flaking, it wasn’t that obvious because the fabric beneath was the same color. On the L&L jacket, the material is white beneath the coating, which means you can see points of white showing around some of the stitching, and any nicks or flaking in the finish will be obvious. In fact, the jacket arrived with some minor flaking already around the front zipper (see photo). At a much lower price I might keep it, but I think it’s overpriced at this quality.

Got a large because that’s usually what I wear and it’s a little loose medium fits me perfect so if you want one, that’s not tight I would size up twice. But I love everything about the jacket though.

This jacket is the cutest thing. I use it as a riding jacket and it cuts the wind in the warmer temps. Is pretty thin for the colder Months. But I will be purchasing again soon, I accidentally ripped mine and can’t wait to replace it!

Cute but the runs extremely small, I'm usually a XL but because I wanted a really loose fit I ordered a XXL however it was really tight in the arms & I couldn't zip it.

I thought the colour would have been more white as I ordered the WJC1044. It’s more brown fits big on the bottom. But if I would have gotten a XS the arms would be to short and tight. Quality is ok it’s nice and soft not stiff but for the price I think it’s over priced for what it is. It would have been nice if it didn’t hang so boxy. I’m 5.6” 117lbs with 32DD chest and it’s big in the chest. The hoodie inside is zipped in and comes out what makes it nice for washing. Could also add a your own small hoodie and change it up. Over all it’s ok can dress it up with a scarfs or dress it down.

Honestly it was what I was looking for, not too expensive, simple, has a little weight to it so it feels like you are wearing something.

Very happy with this purchase. Bought the camel colour. Jacket is much softer than expected. It will definitely dress up or down easily. I am 5’9 and 150lbs. I wanted a very fitted look & bought a small after reading other reviews. Now considering other colours! Look at the sizes carefully when choosing a colour.
