After reading other reviews I decided to buy this to bring on a family holiday and it went over really well, if your are looking at getting a Ludo board for yourself or as a gift for others you won't go wrong with this one. + Board is nice and sturdy, it looks like it will last for a long time. So are the wooden tokens. + Comes beautifully packaged (would make for a great gift). Vintage feel and finished with a tied ribbon. + Classic design. + The size of the board is perfect for four players.

The ludo game is for my small grandchildren, who have just returned from living in the Bavarian Alps. At their superb Kindergarten, all the playthings were wooden and top quality. I searched for ages to find a traditional ludo set with wooden counters, and am absolutely thrilled with my choice. This is a beautiful set, aesthetically pleasing and lovely to handle. It is also unbelievably great value for money and just what we were looking for.

This ludo set is so British that you cannot feel anything but instant love for its craftmanship. It comes in a cardboard box, neatly wrapped with tissue paper where you can read about Mr. Jacques and his passion for toy making. The board is made of stiff cardboard and the markers and dice are wooden, which is really neat. Only downside (hence four stars) is that the dots on the dice are not properly placed. Nevermind, I've got other dices lying around so it's no big deal. I'm old fashioned so I'm truly happy with purchase and, for that price, it's a bargain. A classic.

Brought this game to play with my husband and kids over the Christmas holidays, an attempt to drag kids away from play station mainly. I was expecting an average, flimsy game board as the price was more than reasonable. We were very pleasantly surprised! Its beautifully made, solid and presented like a hard backed drinks menu in a good restaurant! Family that visited over the Christmas holidays were so impressed with it and had so much fun playing the game that they have since gone back home and called me to order it for them too. We have now purchased 4 of these games in total. A family run business and the game is hand made to perfection. Highly recommend!

Reviews of alternate products were checked before making this purchase. I am absolutely delighted with the choice. Whilst not the cheapest of the options, I find it hard to see where better value or quality of product could be found. I agree with previous reviewers that the yellow on the board isn't yellow....but so what! The markers are yellow and variation with the board colours didn't detract. The game arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, tied with a braid (not seen at all often) and outwardly would be a delightful gift. Inside, a printed tissue wrapper around the board, counters and envelope containing instructions etc, enhanced the quality feel. Here comes the cream on the cake.....on offer at £8!! Brilliant.

This was one of my favourite past times. It's definitely a game that brings the family together. As for the product itself, I love how compact it is; easily foldable meaning it doesn't take much storage space and is portable. Can strike up a game anywhere, I would have preferred if the board was slightly bigger, because on some occasions when you roll the dice, you end up knocking some of the pieces in play. Nonetheless, it's a beatiful product that delivers.

It was a bit smaller than I expected, but seeing as it is a Christmas present, they may prefer it being smaller.

Cuando lo abre ves que tiene otro nivel. Es un juguete artesanal, el material tiene excelente cualidad. Un layout del tablero es algo vintage con un toque suave para las manos y colores fosco. Realmente es una linda pieza, da pena de jugar.

The product came in excellent packing with a hand written note. It was easy to notice that the maker cares a lot about customer opinion. The tokens are wooden made and can last a long time. There was a single dice available which is also wooden but of good quality. The board is made of cardboard but looks nice. The product is nice so 5 star but for me personally I would give a five star if the board was a little bigger, an included container for dice throwing and an extra dice for players who like to play with double dice. Totally recommended.
