Its the perfect cutting board. Dishwasher friendly. Slim enough to store wherever you want. Big enough to eliminate the extra gestures needed to dump handfuls of cut food into a separate bowl or plate. Stable during use - but only after increasing friction through regular use to rough up the surface (it did slide around a little when brand new because it was so smooth). Washes by hand easily. Doesn't punish me for not washing it immediately like wood or bamboo. Tolerates water better than wood or bamboo. Tolerates heat better than other, inferior plastics. I love to cook but I'm all about efficiency, reducing barriers to cooking (mental and physical), cutting back on dishes, and limiting sensory chaos on my limited counter space - this checks all those boxes. If you're as dish-averse as me, or living in a very dish-averse household like me, hear my story: cute, sturdy bamboo or wood cutting boards don't work for us. They become biohazards that get left out or in the sink to absorb water and eventually mold and stain over time. I almost bought another cheap set of plastic cutting boards - you know, the ones that slide around stupidly on the counter while you're wielding sharp objects, that if not placed in the perfect spot in the dishwasher will tip over and block the spinner, and that eventually warp due to lack of heat resistance. I'm a strong believer that your dishes should work for you - not the other way around!

Buy this cutting board if you are on a budget like us and need something life long. We eat at home 99% of the time. I got the white one in the 20x15x.05 size. It is the best cutting board I have owned so far. It does not have non-slip pads, but I think the heft of it keeps it in place. Also, yes, cutting boards get cuts in them. That's what they're for....to protect your countertop. The cuts left do not interfere with other activities I do like rolling out and cutting dough. Just wanted to point this out since the other reviews I saw about this are ridiculous. I have not had hot objects on this yet besides a steak. I assume it would be temperature safe enough for prepping hot foods.

If you're like me with acrylic countertops in your kitchen and roll out dough to make various goodies and then use a cookie cutter or knife on said dough, then this is the cutting board for you! What a dream and nice enough looking that you could leave it out on the counter if you wanted. I'm so happy with this purchase.
