Wonderful DMs!
This is my first pair of DMs for nearly 40 years! These days, comfort is (nearly!) everything, but I love the stylishness of Dr Martens smooth leather boots. One word of warning to anyone who is buying them for the first time - there is a heavily stitched seam that run across the top of the foot at the bottom of the tongue: it is very stiff on the new boots, and you really must break them in and soften up that seam before wearing them out and about. The best way to do this is to wear one thick pair of socks (or two thin pairs) inside the boots for several evenings around the house. Even if sitting on a chair, flex your feet every which way inside the boots, or get up and boogie for an hour each evening! Then, take off the boots and use the balls of your thumbs inside and outside the seam, to massage and stretch it. It may take a few days, but believe me - it will be worth every second. Once your boots have softened and moulded themselves to the shape of your foot, it will feel like you are wearing slippers! Gorgeous. I wear a UK size 7/EU 41 and the Dr Martens size 7 is perfect for wearing with medium thickness hiking socks.

What a boot.
Item arrived on time, first of all. As soon as I opened the parcel, and the shoe box, I realized I was in front of the best boots I ever bought in my life. Tried them before buying in a couple of shops, and unfortunately looked like I was in the middle between sizes 7 and 8. Size 7 very short and painful for my feet, size 8 way toooo large. I decided to risk and go for a 7 then... and I was totally right. Leather is of a really good quality, and took not more than 4 days to break in the boots. It expands up to a few mm, and gives you just some standable pain at first. One blister only, on my right heel, and that's all: now they're the most comfortable shoes I ever got. I use them to go to work, have walks around, sometimes I dance also... they're just perfect and comfy, keeping feet warm and dry. I got the boots in brown colour, and I might buy black as well soon. Would totally recommend them to anybody: they fit and look GREAT.

Fantastic boots, competitively priced @ Amazon.
Love, love, love these boots! Been wearing Dr Marten's since I was 15 & I am now 47! Whilst the quality is not to the same standard as it once was (when made in the UK) the boots themselves are comfy and still fit ok. I am aware I shall have to be careful not to mark these being white (although white trainer cleaner might help if I do mark them), but the thickness of the leather will last a few years at least if I take care, so the price is justified. As for breaking them in...Moleskin by Scholl should do the trick until I am used to them, but I have not had a problem breaking in new DM's in the past few years so all should be well. These are my first pair of white DM'S and I kerp wondering what took me so long? Give them a try, at Amazon's price you have nothing to lose!

My go-to boots!
I absolutely love these Dr. Martens boots! I bought them last winter and I survived without falling and not sliding much on the snow and ice while wearing them! After breaking into them quickly, it was really comfortable and easy to wear almost every day, and I even wear them around the year no matter what season. I know that they will definitely last a long time and my only disappointment is that the material scuffs and scratches easily but that's no surprise, and despite this, the boots are still pretty shiny and the imperfections are hardly visible!I'm also happy that I got these on sale because they're good, practical footwear that can be worn pretty much every day and you don't need to break the bank to have them. Here's to numerous winters that involve me not falling or breaking anything thanks to my trusty DMs. :D

Full review of the Dr Martens 1460 Smooth 59
So you are all wondering how these Dr Martens look? I got mines in 'Black Leather' with my normal size 6.5UK they fit perfect allot of people where saying that Dr Martens done come in half sizes I was a bit worried if they where fake but they weren't they where amazing and spot on. The leather is a nice smooth black leather a bit shiny cause of the leather but lovely I have no blisters or pains they just felt rite. It comes with the drmarten box with the paper and shoes but there are no yellow laces?! I don't really care about Yellow Laces as they look ugly but if you want yellow laces with them I recommend contacting the seller Dr Marten to put them in for you. The show is good quality and is comfy. That's all to say I have included pictures of the box and shoes hopefully you get yours :) add me on Instagram @burstables

Too tight
I've worn size 5 dms all my live yet there were far too tight across the top of my foot. I thought it would improve by wearing them in but I actually got pins and needles from lack of blood to my foot and had to take them off every time. So not sure if these are genuine? Look genuine in every way. I have others pairs of size 5 dms and fit fine though.

Patent Dr Martins size 7/8
I am a true size 7 but knowing DM’s take so long to break in I always buy an 8 and pop in an insole they are then the perfect fit and hardly need breaking in . Really pleased with my patent DM They are soft on the inside and nice and shiny on the outside. They are a little tight on the top of my foot but with buying a size bigger this will I’m sure break in after a few walks so not worried at all. V happy
