Good product.
My son is in Year 4 and he has just started to play the piano. He was asked to purchase this book by his piano teacher. Easy to understand and son seems to enjoy it.

An Apps Better
Books extremely basic and more of a mess around oppose to a tool that'll teach how to play keyboard. Personally would download an app such as Simply Piano instead.

Excellent book for beginners
Bought this book for my 8 year old. The book arrived in a very good condition with excellent packaging. The quality of the book is good. This is a very good book for beginners. This book has been recommended by the teacher. The illustrations are very good and perfectly explained in simple language which can be easily understood by beginners. I would definitely recommend this book. This book also arrived quickly.

Would highly recommend (with one serious reservation)
Great selection of tunes and attractive presentation. From a teacher's point of view, it would be much better if not all the notes were labelled, because this encourages a "painting by numbers" approach to reading music (which is not really reading the music at all!) so when students transfer to other books which don't have the letters written in, they are totally lost! However it is easy to get round this - I just colour in most of the black note-heads so the children learn to read the notes as they would in a piano tutor. It's worth the effort because the students learn to read faster and more confidently in the long run, but they get the benefit of the great range of tunes which this tutor provides. Having said that, having the letters written in makes it easy for someone to teach themselves to play if they don't have lessons...it just means they will have to learn to read music properly before they can play the music in other books. Unlike some other keyboard books, this book encourages the use of the keyboards Voice/Style features (Yamaha) or Tone/Rhythm features (Casio keyboards), use of chords (fingered and single-fingered) as well as improvisation/composition etc A really good all-round resource for children aged 5-8 who want to learn the keyboard.
