Transforms your Leatherman into an everyday carry hero I picked up the Leatherman Pocket Clip & Lanyard Ring to make carrying my Leatherman Wave easier, and honestly, it’s one of those small upgrades that makes a big difference. The pocket clip snaps on securely and holds the tool in my pocket without the need for a sheath, making it easy to grab quickly when I need it (which is surprisingly often when you’re the “fix it” person in your family). It keeps the tool from sinking to the bottom of your pocket and is strong enough that I don’t worry about it popping off accidentally. The lanyard ring is handy if you like keeping your Leatherman tethered, especially if you’re working on ladders or over water and don’t want your multitool taking a dive. It’s easy to install, and once it’s on, it stays put. If I had to nitpick, the clip could have a slightly lower profile for deep pocket carry, but it’s sturdy, functional, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I bought these for my Wave, as I wanted a pocket clip to help retain it in a pocket or pouch. Really easy to fit and remove and does the job.

Available in stainless silver or black oxide to match the most common colours of the compatible Leatherman models. Mine was purchased for a Wave model. At the bottom of one of the legs, you will find a small gap next to where the tools slide out from. This where these parts simply clip in to your Leatherman and are held in place by the same release mechanism that locks the other tools open when in use. There's very little else to say about these bits - they do what it says on the tin. They can be very quickly and simply removed momentarily if you feel they are in the way of any particular use and reattached immediately after. The only baffling thing is if only one can be used at a time, why are they selling them as a set...?

I wanted to grab one of these clips for my surge so it would be more secure in the pocket. Opening this, it was covered in an weird grease. it didnt rub onto my fingers like some other reviews mentioned but is odd, I simply washed it with soap and it was fine. I was expecting when I put these into the tool that it would be sturdy with no wiggle, Theres wiggle. Both the lanyard and pocket clip seem to have some room to move when attaching to the tool not filling me with the best confindence. The actual quality is good but the fitment isnt. I'd say its usable and it shouldnt let you down despite the wiggle though.

There is really not much to say about these: they clip on to my Leatherman Wave Multi-Tool with Oxide Finish - Black with a confident click and the locking mechanism keeps them in place. You can clip on one at a time, so you'll have either the keyring or the pocket clip on your tool.
