No Brainer!!! Perfect upgrade for me!!!
I bought the desk for my basement, home studio. This product is very well made for the price and also, irrelevant of price. Double boxed for shipment. Outer box was torn when delivered but inner was immaculate. Shipped in two separate boxes. A smaller one and a large, heavy one. This desk has some serious heft to it. Picture instructions only, but the pictures are very accurate. I had no problems following them. I studied all of the steps first which is a good idea. The desk is very accurately machined for assembly. Everything lined up exactly the way it should. The hardware bag was awesome - everything labeled and in line with the instructions. No flaws or missing parts. The surface on the desk seems tough. It is a raised “grain” surface so a mouse pad would be ideal although I haven’t gotten one yet, but the mouse works fine. To hand write on this desk would require a flat surface of some type. It’s like a resinous coating with a lightly grooved texture. The grain pattern is beautiful. Functionality based on its layout is really good. Holds 4 single rack units on each side under the speaker shelves. Rack rails and bolts/rubber washers are included. Rolls easily on 5 rotating wheels. The two front wheels are locking. The keyboard shelf holds my Yamaha MX61 with about .5 inch of open space on each side and about 2” of space above. In other words, it fits like a glove. I briefly thought about buying something less expensive and I’m glad I didn’t. The company is called ACME and the coyote/roadrunner came to mind. Believe me, this ACME company rocks and I’m never looking back on the purchase. You will be pleased assuming shipping, manufacturing, parts etc. are as good for you as they were for me. I cannot see why they wouldn’t be. The company seems to have their act together with quality control. It’s bigger than it looks in my pictures. Pretty much 6’ wide and pretty deep as well. Super pleased!

Worth The Money!!!
Assembling: I would definitely recommend having a friend help you assemble the desk. Sure, you could do it by yourself, but it would take a very long time. One thing I’d like for the company to add to the instructions is which pool goes where. After my friend and I assembled all the pools and flipped the desk up to it’s proper possession, we realized that in order to assemble the next part, the 2 pools in the back have to have holes in them. Only 2 pools out of 4 had holes in them and the directions didn’t tell us that. Nor did they tell us where the 2 pools with the holes had to go. So, my friend and I had to flip it back over and rearrange the pools. Overall the assemble was very simple. It just took a while so again, have a friend help you.Sturdiness: The Sturdiness is actually really good. No complaints.Money Worth: This desk is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL! I look at this beautiful desk in my room sometimes and still have trouble believing that I got it for only $550. THATS INSANE!!! The desk is definitely worth the money I highly recommend buying it!I am highly satisfied with this order. It also arrived like 4 days early for me which was awesome! Bravo to the company behind this desk! 10 out of 10! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

A very practical design at a reasonable price
Easy build. The non scratch surface is so practical and the design accomodations are as well. I am running prologic with my mac mini and other recording DAW on a Windows platform. The desk surface offers plenty of room for cpu keyboards, a mouse, and audio interface,a small mixer for just playing and practice with friends. My software has plenty of power and plugins so I don't use external gear for recording. I use the 8 unit gear rack for live sound gear to jam with friends, playing along with recordings, when I am learning new material. I have a stereo compressor, a crown amp, a rack mounted Korg X3R synth and power strip all within arm's reach. The icing on the cake is the slide out controller keyboard drawer. This is a well thought out design that doesn't clutter the work area with excessive rack spaces that take up usable space. Take your time routing audio and power cables and it will pay you back in productivity. The price is worth it.

Great desk. Not easy to assemble.
Great big desk. Not easy to assemble if you don’t have a drill or task rabbit person assembling for you. But it’s a great desk
