When you are baking for a crowd, this is a super cake tin
This cake tin is large and perfect if you are baking for a crowd. I used if for making carrot cake and doubled my normal recipe (which if for a round cake tin with a diameter of 26 cm). I lined the cake tin with baking parchment and it was no problem getting the cake out of the mould. If you are after a book shaped cake tin, this is a good choice.

Good shape
Good shape. It is thin so take care storing it. Instructions are not helpful for uk about how much cake mix to make. (States 14 & 1/2 cups batter) it’s roughly like a 12 or 13” square tin so Vic sponge would be 16 eggs, 2lbs flour, sugar, butter Etc .

Great tin, just a shame driver didn't knock and left it outside.
I haven't used the cake tin as yet but it is good quality.

Did the job
Brilliant for my first attempt at a proper cake, used for world book day. Arrived quickly but had a dent in the side. Didn’t make much difference to the cake, if I’d had more time I would have asked for a replacement.

huge!
I have yet to bake a cake in this and will update my review if needed once I do. This tin is large, very big so perfect for a large party but not so good for a small gathering. The tin itself is quite flimsy which is why I'm giving it three stars, if not looked after it will easily get damaged and so making the cake imperfect. It needs to be a bit thicker and stronger and then it would be perfect.

Not what I was expecting, not deep at all to make a book cake. I had to return

Perfect purchase
Absolutely perfect!Not wanting to take any chances, I sprayed the tin with one cal cooking spray and lined with baking parchment. - Cake came out in one perfect moulded shape no problem at all. Cake served approximately 30-35 people. Tin arrived extremely well packaged and without ant any damage/dents at all. Very impressed!

This is a great pan!!!!
When I bought this pan, I was a little concerned about the cake sticking, but it did not. The cake came out beautifully!! Overall, I am very happy with the quality of this and will definitely be using it a lot.
