What an excellent little tool. I don't use it for my hairbrush but I spin wool and part of the preparation process is carding the fleece on a drum carder. After you remove the wool from the drum there will be varying degrees of wool left trapped in the many fine and sharp teeth (for those of you with dogs think large slicker brush wrapped round a cylinder drum). It takes forever to try and pick out these shreds of wool with tweezers and other implements. But this brush cleaner is wonderful. In 10 or 15 minutes after receiving it I managed to clean my carder thoroughly with no pain(!) and masses of satisfaction. I highly recommend it to any carding wool spinners out there.

For cleaning fibre from carders and blending board

This brush cleaner is really good! I have a boar bristle brush which came with a tiny brush cleaner and it takes forever to clean with! However this brush cleaner is large and does the job in half the time not to mention there are two different sides which further help!

The media could not be loaded. Hmmm not sure about sturdiness but does the job , will see if it lasts long.

Works really well if your using it to pull out all the hair in your brush. Made it super clean. It’s not a quick process though, but it did pull out a lot each time.

It does the job but a bit archaic, I cut my finger with it after using it for a while.

For years I’ve either been painstakingly (and not very successfully attempting to clean the build up out of my hairbrush or throwing them it out and buying a new one. Can’t believe I’ve wasted so much money when I could have just bought this. Excellent tool, within 5-10mins of use, my hairbrush is as good as new. So pleased with this product.

I can't praise this highly enough. It is much better than I had expected. I honestly thought that I had cleaned my brush, then I used this tool and was shocked how much more debris was collected.I certainly would recommend this. Oh btw, I'm going to get a spare, you know, just in case!
