These looks really smart. I like a smaller pair of scissors for cutting hair , the perfect length for me. Easily adjustable screw for loose / tension on the blades.They may not last as long as my professional shears (which cost silly money 20years ago, and needed replacing) and these beautiful scissors are unbeatable for the price , and are suiting my needs of just doing my family's hair regularly.

I bought these to cut my own fringe as was told to absolutely not use paper or kitchen scissors for the job! These are fantastically sharp (as my finger can attest to -- watch out for that) and do a great job. Nice-looking, smooth action, great design and came with a convenient case which, whilst not exceptionally high quality, is somewhere safe to keep them. They also had a protective plastic bit that went over the end which was another nice feature. You can easily adjust how stiff the action is using the wheel on the front.

These were purchased to trim my daughters' fringes. I've never owned properhair scissors before and after making a mess of one daughter's fringe with apair of kitchen scissors I thought I'd better invest.I choose these primarily because of the high-star reviews and I have not beendisappointed. They are so very sharp and will cut hair even at the very tip of theblades. There is a brass wheel at the hinge to allow one to adjust the tension onthe blades (or to take them apart for cleaning) and a removable finger-rest.They measure around 13 centimetres long and are very light; around 38 grams(a bag of crisps is around 30 grams!); they are made from a grade of stainlesssteel that is very rust resistant, but apparently a grade that makes sharpeningeasy.The case and the plastic tip protector are a bonus and my daughters' fringeshave now been 'snipped' beautifully ... at a wonky angle mind, but the scissorsare great and I definitely recommend them.All I need now is for someone to show me how to cut a fringe properly ...Just had a look for a tutorial online ... Americans call fringes bangs!

Bought these for my wife who does part time hairdressing. They appear to be very good quality, and my wife likes them. My one complaint is how these are sized. These are listed as 5 inch, but the cutting length is less than that.. My wife is happy with this but, I expected the size to be the cutting length of the blades. This is clearly not the case. A small dimensioned drawing with the advertisement would have been useful.

I'd had my hairdressing scissors for more years than I care to remember and thought it time to purchase a new pair. At the moment I only use them to trim my fringe but I find them beautiful and comfortable to hold, they come is a really great nicely padded and shaped black 'box' and I found the price reasonable too. Highly recommended.

Be very careful not to cut yourself, it's easily done with these super sharp scissors. These scissors look great and feel good to use. The presentation case is a nice addition and useful while travelling.

These are sharp scissors compared to ones I've found from stores. I only wish they would be more pointy. I cut my friends hair and the result was good however.

These are some really high grade scissors. I have a thick and curly beard, so with my normal trimmers they don't get all the hairs. That's when these scissors are needed, and together with a comb or if just using to tidy up the beard these are spot on. They feel razor sharp and I have had them for a while now and they haven't lost any sharpness at all. No rust either but I have not got them wet at all just in case.I would just say however they are slightly big for smaller trimming, so if you want to trim around the moustache or cheek lines it can get a little fiddly. For that I would recommend a smaller pair with a rounded points so as not to stab yourself. But for main beard trimming these are perfect.
