looks like good quality wood, smooth and sturdy. The comb is very thick, so unlikely to break at all.....which made the extreme amount of packaging a bit confusing. Even the teeth of the comb are sturdy, which means that it will stand up to even my hair. I've broken a few plastic combs, so this wooden comb looks to be well worth the price.

Nice enough comb
Beautiful scent and packaging ,I'm presuming that the comb is resin coated and not plastic and may have contributed to lack of effectiveness on static hair
