Suzuki Cello School Cello Part Vol 1: International Edition

I am not following the suzuki method but my teacher is happy for me to use it and I found the book excellent. Plenty of useful exercises and interesting tunes for an adult beginner (unlike other books). Navigated through it nicely in one month (could already read music)

Bought as per my cello teachers request (although I have just done the grade 1 exam!! Anyway it's just as described - new condition.

Very easy to follow and works well at lessons. Would appreciate it if it came with the CD as had to buy this separately.

Well, now my daughter sounds tolerable. She was all over the place with Vamoosh. The pieces on these are easy to read for a kido and practice, while not giving their parents a head ache.

I found this to be a really helpful cello method - very good for practising technique and a good focus on tonalisation as well. However needs to be used alongside another book as it very much throws you in at the deep end. As an adult who already plays two instruments and has my grade 5 theory it is a really useful book. I would be wary of you are a parent looking to find a book for your child, it's quite intense and you may risk putting your child off!

Great book however, I found it too be a little difficult for a beginner.

love it, lovely progressions through the pieces, nice pieces to play, really well presented. I got it because I've started to do grades as an adult beginner, and some of the pieces safe in here, but would have enjoyed it regardless.

Kiddo says this book is great, just the right level of challenging. At 8 I was concerned it may be too advanced but it's just right.
