As an amazing model: Correct in every detail this model is a very accurate representation of the dinosaur, everything has been meticulously considered from anatomy and skin texture through to the curve of the jaw. Papo unmistakeably have a palaeontologist in their mists. This said; colour of course remains unknown, Papo have opted for a subtle blending of earthly colours that give a striking lifelike appearance, particularly in natural lighting. And yes, the image above is not deceiving you; the model really can stand unsupported in that dynamic pose. As a toy: While I would argue such a stunning model would be shamefully wasted in child’s toy box, the polymer (plastic) used is non the less tough and hard wearing - the model body would no doubt sustain considerable punishment. However; the moveable lower jaw is clearly a week point perhaps rendering this model unsuitable for particularly young dinosaur enthusiasts. And now the bad: On close inspection there are some apparent assembly joins, notably behind the skull and on the left arm. However, these are subtle and do not detract from shear awesomeness of this creation.

This is a small enough figure but what it lacks in size makes up for it in detail nice figure

Like all the papo range of dinosaurs, this is another well posed and detailed model of the Carnosaur..! I marked this down to Four stars only as it is much smaller than say 'The' T-Rex. I'm sure that in real life the T-Rex would have been larger than the Carnosaur, but I think the scale between these Two is possibly quite some way out..? However, this is still a great fearsome looking model Carnosaur, and with all the Papo range of dinosaurs come's highly recomended.

Ever since I discovered Papo's dinosaur range I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of their products. As of writing this I only have two of their models, this and the brown Tyrannosaurus, however they are both of an extremely high quality and are depicted accurately. This Carnotaurus model is definitely the most detailed and accurate for available for retail purchase and is far superior to all other brands such as Schleich's version. Whilst it is quite small it is in scale with the Tyrannosaurus model, a neat little bonus, and is very well painted and sculpted. An incredible buy, and to whoever had one that couldn't stand; I have no problem with mine, I think that you may have had a bad cast.

Again another lovely model from papo (but smaller than expected) I've read the other reviews and have to say the lady with the standing problem was just unlucky with the casting, the one I received if fine but having had two spinosaurus one was okay the other doesn't really stand properly so I can understand where she is coming from but it's just luck of the draw.

Good Dino, good quality, lots of detail and better than many on the market, but a bit expensive for the product.

This is a very nice piece from Papo and the second dinosaur I got from this company (Velociraptor being the first). Even though I expected it to be a bit larger, it is still large enough not to be considered tiny. The details for which Papo is known are all present and Carno looks very nice. The stance looks attractive - however, it is quite unstable. It is difficult to keep it standing on a smooth and hard surface, and it is almost impossible to do it on a carpet. Besides that, I have no other complaints and I will go for Papo dinos again.

Good quality and detail, but thats reflected in the price. Other cheaper models do not have the same detail.

Figura increíblemente guapa, de verdad, para subirla a un trono y rezarle todos los días de tu vida, las escamas, la boca... los ojos... hay madre mia esos ojos... enserio, realmente épica, detallazos. La mía no vino con el mismo color que se ve aquí en amazon, pero me da igual, es otro tono más marrón-beige, no se, si lo pudieseis ver, sería como un carnotauro desértico 100%, muy contento, lo que siempre digo con estas compras por internet, nos arriesgamos a que nos llegue cualquier cosa ya que las figuras están pintadas a mano. Pero muy muy muy muy feliz con esta compra, a diferencia del velociraptor de la marca "papo" (la misma que este dino) que me llegó y parece una figura del chino de la esquina de mi calle. Dejo estos comentarios siempre con intención de orientar a nuevos compradores, así que aquí tenéis mi experiencia y espero que os ayude!! :D
