Absolutely amazing price I’m very pleased :)!!These are £6 a branch in pets at home so £1.49 is a bargain... I read the reviews after purchasing and was a bit panicked about people saying it caused allergic reactions in their birds, this seems to be more commonly in budgies?? I was quite hesitant so did some research and apparently trixie make their branches from ‘carob’ wood which is safe, and my cockatiels have happily chewed these with no problemsHope it puts some of your minds to rest if you are a little concerned about purchasing 💕

Its a Y shaped branch,the fixing is good and doesn't allow for a beaked caged animal to eat the fixing nut/washer.My budgie seems to spend 99% of his time on this perch rather than the plastic thing available at the other end of his cell.He beak attacks it daily,which he/she naturally should,the perch is standing very strong.Havent stood on it personally but the clawed lad seems to like it.

These are not safe my budgie chewed on one and had severe allergic reaction had to take him as emergency to an avian vet who confirmed the sap in this wood is poisonous to birds.

Price wise these are good, however the bit of screw that goes into the wood hadn't got any 'bite' and spins the stick when bird stands on it, even when screwed to cage.It's made my bird wary of standing on them. I like that they are natural wood of different widths which is good for birds feet.Need to be better quality.

I wasn't keen on buying a branch (plenty just outside my driveway) & I also wasn't sure about the length, shape etc.... as many times, what's turned up isn't what's in the picture however, this time it's PERFECT! It's 100% exactly like the picture which is what I needed & now I have this branch & fork going from the front of the cage up to the food and water containers. My birds now have a natural branch leading to their food & water with each off shoot going to the different container, they love it!

I now have purchased these 3 times. Honestly these are perfect for budgies. Or smaller birds. The sizes are varied. Still great value for money. They fit well on the cage ( house) he has. And are sturdy when fitted. I washed with just water before adding them to the cage and allowed them to dry. My boy has 2 on the outside of cage on on the inside and doesnt have any trouble with them.

This "thing" is nothing like as sturdy as the sales picture would have you believe. It is little more than a twig that would only be suitable for something like a baby sparrow and mine fell apart - literally - the very minute I tried to fit it to the cage. Needless to say, I threw it in the bin. The screw threads are clearly cut from the softest metal known to man and they strip as soon as the merest torque is applied. Trying vainly to salvage it somehow, I ended up with the wood in one hand and the entire (tiny) metal portion in the other. A total waste of money and if I could have given it no stars in every category then I would have done.

Five stars for this product - I purchased two for my Canary and he absolutely loves them. They provide different widths, which in turn exercises your birds feet. They provide a more natural environment and take up less space than a regular perch - allowing more space for your bird. I can highly recommend and the price compared to other petshops, is fantastic!
