I enjoy this product and maybe you will too
For the first look I do like the quality of the of this case, especially for the price! I do appreciate the many compartments it has so I can put many things inside. This can be used a Wallet, to journal, and can even fit my phone inside. I can definitely take this on trips and use it in everyday life! And the notebook does have texture to it.I was afraid whether it would fit in my pocket but it actually does. I have tried it with my Dress Pants, Jeans, and sweats. If you do wear tight pants this will probably not fit in your pocket.I do have 1 issue though, if you scratch it, it stays like that. Some may find that it “gives a rustic look” appealing, but personally I don’t. The zipper can get stuck sometimes, but it doesn’t bother me.

Nice 3.5 pocket notebook cover
Compared to a lochby. Which I’ve had two. This is my favorite of the “knockoffs”. Great price. The canvass is a much coarser weave than the lochby. Doesn’t feel particularly waxy. Will probably wax it myself. But the main takeaway is this is slightly bigger than the lochby in the right places. Pictures taken are with both notebooks holding a rhodia web notebook. Hardback and a lot of pages. The lochby feels stretched when you stuff this notebook in it. The spine of the tintris or whatever it’s called is slightly thicker. As well as the other dimensions. But the spine thickness is what allows it to accommodate thicker notebooks. The interior pockets will accommodate flip notebooks. Staple bound or spiral. But they don’t take up as much space and feels like to much bulk for that amount of paper. But I love this one for its ability to hold my favorite pocket notebook. I would not have bought it if the zippers were not ykk. And at first I didn’t like the idea of having two zippers. But you can push one in further and hide it and have the usual exposed one. Compared to the lochby which opens the same way every time. The tintris allows you to choose where to park the zippers. Also the backing ( whatever they use to stiffen the back) is thicker and stiffer on the tintris. It feels beefier. But mainly it accommodates my favorite pocket notebook so it moves into 1st place in this category. I still like the lochby if you are going to use their size notebook or a small staple bound clairfontaine. It is small and flexible so if no pens are in it you can throw it in your back pocket and not worry about anything being smushed bad. And lochby uses tomoe river paper. I think the old stock because it is one of the best for fountain pens. The one that comes with this is not. Only my diamond registrars ink on an Ef nib doesn’t bleed through or ghost. Everything else does. It does have a nifty pen slot built into the front of the cover. But if they used the 52 gsm tomoe river paper those would have been killer notebooks. They work if you use gel or ballpoint tho

a good little keeper tracker.
Great book for shop and field. It comes with 2 notepads that slip in one side or the other. I keep some extra cash a pencil and a permenant marker as well as my ring when i cant wear it in the shop.On the outside theres also pockets, i keep my lockpicks in there as i have a nasty habit of loosing my keys (no really, i need a better system lol) but sometimes good for shenanigans too.It feels well built and definately durable.Would reccomend and is a fair price.

Well made, durable, but not pocket sized
This is nicely made and the price is very competitive with other companies making similar products. The construction is just as good as others you might find on Amazon for twice the price. I use this to hold a 3 x 5 rite in the rain notebook, a mechanical pencil, small ruler, and an eraser. Everything fits nicely and as much as I appreciate that the only negative I will mention is this isn't pocket sized. You won't fit this in your back pocket. I was wearing tactical pants when I first received this and it didn't fit well in the cargo pockets. However, what this cover exceeds at is keeping all your writing tools i.e. pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, all in a nice little cover that's weather proof. The zipper closure is nice and smooth making this great for carrying out to a job site, taking notes, and keeping all your notes in one place. I don't think this is something you're going to take out to the field jot a note down, put this is your pocket and do some work. This is something you can set down out in the weather to do a job and not worry about mud, rain, or other elements damaging your notes.Like any tool, it can be incredibly valuable the better you learn to use it in a practical sense.

Perfect
This is the perfect size and fits in a cargo pocket. I use it everyday. Small pocket calendar and Field Notes inserted keeps my monkey brain less monkeyed up.

Stylish but tuff
Tuff notebook for field notes. Interior pockets for business cards, etc. Outer pocket for pens.

Solid, no nonsense, practical pocket notebook cover
Pretty pleased with this product. I've been carrying it a few weeks now. It feels "utilitarian," like a product that's supposed to be used. Solid zipper with no misbehaving. Solid stitching that doesn't feel like it will fail in months or a few years. Holds (1) 3×5 hardcover and (3) 3x5 "field notes" style notebooks with no issue fighting to zip it closed. Not for a front pocket, and won't fit in most back pockets, but has no problem with the cargo pockets I have personally. The pockets on the front and back exterior are a bit tight; I can fit a regular size pen and mechanical pencil with no problem, but a bigger barrel on a pen might be a struggle. I haven't found a practical use for the exterior pocket on the back, perhaps if I wasn't carrying as many notebooks as I am it would be looser, but as is paper or card stock isn't stiff enough; a thin plastic ruler or something like it would probably work. Inside pockets are sufficient for a few cards likely, but I don't use them. You can certainly find fancier covers but I think this is great as a "working" cover at a fair price.
