I have only used this mixer a few times so I will update this review if my opinion changes, however I think this is a fantastic free standing mixer for those on a budget. I am a student who has a passion for baking, and I wanted a freestanding mixer on the cheap that gets the job done and helps me make my breads as good as possible. I was slightly sceptical about this one, as I have only ever used mixers that are £200+, however I have been pleasantly surprised. The mixer comes with a removable metal bowl, one whisk, 2 dough hooks and 2 other attachments that fit on well. The mixing part is detachable from the base (if you like to use it hand held style) and the bowl itself rotates to ensure an even mix. Although a bit cheap feeling as it is so light, it gets the job done and for £25, who can complain? The bowl is much larger than I was expecting, and would easily accommodate the majority of my bakes. Obviously, if you make large batches or work on a more industrial scale, this probably wouldn't suit you however for a regular amount of batter for cakes or dough for bread, it handles well. I love the fact that the handle itself detaches, as this is very handy for creating meringues, and although the shapes of the dough hooks are unusual, they work surprisingly well.All in all, a fantastic mixer for £25, and I will definitely look at other products in the VonShef range!

When I read mix reviews, I wasn't sure of I have made the right choice, but I wouldn't change it for a world. It's so easy to use, it's not to heavy, and easy to clean. It looks presentable in my kitchen and works very well.

Lightweight but sturdy enough for the job. Use as hand or stand mixer with easy attachment and detachment. Dishwasher stainless steel bowl and attachments. Good power. Bowl turns. What's not to like? Bought one for my daughter and she liked it so much I bought one for me :) Great price too.

After just once used the mixing bowl while rotating makes a sqeeky noise and the paddle attachments are not sustainable for whipping air into butter. I was unable to connect the whipping attachment to the unit whilst attached to the bowl. It doesn't roate. I brought this as an upgrade to my handheld unit l had been using for many years. But since purchasing this unit, l use my old mixer because it give better results. Dispite needing a unit which allowed me to be hands off. The bowl looked like it had been used along with the attachments. I am now I. The process of looking for an alternative handheld mixer with a rotating bowl.

To be honest It was great at mixing, but I COULD NOT GET THE HANG OF ATTACHING AND REMOVING THEHAND MIXER PART TO THE STAND. So I gave up and put the stand in the bin. It was a great little machine,I did not want a massive mixer that I would only use twice a month,

This was bought as a present ,my daughter bakes cakes n buns regular .From what she's told me it's very easy to use the attachments are very easy to put in and take out.The speeds it runs at are excellent the bowl is not massive but holds a decent sized cake mix,the cleaning must b easy because my daughter likes a moan and all iv got back is positive responses . Looking at some of the end results that ive seen the mixer is spot on it certainly does a good job .Recommended .

I have not stopped baking since i bought this. I love it! Looks lovely on my work top and is easy to use. I’ve used all 5 paddles frequently. Good speed selection and the bowl washes so easily & quickly
