Schott NYCMen's Pilot Leather Jacket

I received the jacket today morning . Well packaged in carton box. Jacket well wrapped in polythene .The smell of the jacket is not of any chemicals or bad odour !! Exactly the smell of beautiful neutral leather .The quality of the leather is1. Soft and supple2. Color ( I bought the brown one ) good dark brown colour3. Texture is really cowhide4 medium weight jacket ; not that heavy heavy feeling . Really comfortable to wear . Doesn makes you exhausted . But it does have the beautiful weight which you welcome5. Size is xl ( order the size according to schott website where the size is mentioned correctly according to the chest )Here in Amazon the size mentioned is not true . I ordered xl for the 44 chest size which is perfect snug and not too tight or too lose . Shoulder fit is also perfect .It fits to just a bit down to waist not above the waist6. The fur collar is also good attaches ( snaps perfect . Not loose or dangling . Am happy7. Zip is also good quality ( but it feels a bit hard initially but apply a small amount of Vaseline to the zip and it runs smoothly.Overall 5/5 star .Honest review .Thanks AmazonThanks schottThis jacket made in Pakistan. I'd been looking for this type of jacket for a long time. Pilot jacket with knitted cuffs, but regular pockets instead of the usual map pockets with flaps. The leather is really nice and the inside is lined with cotton, instead of polyester like cheaper jackets. I really like to cut of the jacket. I'm only 170cm tall, but I have fairly broad shoulders so I still wear a size L. Usually that means jackets are a bit long (body and sleeves). Because this jacket is cut a little shorter it's perfect for me. It is a slimmer fit and some jackets, but it definitely looks the business.

Jacket fits as expected. I like to buy a leather jacket that feels slightly small at first to allow for some give. I am chest size 37'' and got size Small. I chose the brown colour after reading a review that it looks almost black, and that is indeed the case. I have given this 4 stars as the zip catches a little and also for the fact that the packaging could have been better - the box was open at one corner.

I'm usually a size Large, I ordered Extra Large and it fits perfectly, so I would advise going one size up, to be on the safe side.The jacket itself is great, warm , comfortable and great looking.

I'm a guy with a big chest, so I ordered a XXL it arrived was good quality but I swear the fit was for a normal slim build guy.My old leather jacet I've had for 20 years was purchased from M&S and is only a xl size but has plenty of room.There was a 4XL size but they stopped making it they need to checi thier measurements because the jackets dont match the sizes.

Having owned a Schott jacket before, made the purchase easier. What a great jacket, has a good weight to it. It will definitely age well.Also at a reasonable price.

I am a big fan of Schott coats, so I may be biased. Although I love this jacket. High quality and high warmth. Stiff new leather with a great smell. Buyers should be aware that these coats usually come up a size too small. I.e. buy a medium if you are small. This is true of all schott coats I own (5 now). So I have voted for size as expected, but I expected this coat to confirm to schott’s sizing, which it did.

An amazing quality jacket that will last you 10 years+ and look better as it develops a patina. This style that schott produces tends to run large so bear that in mind as a medium looks and fits like the old school Avirex jackets. The zippers and poppers were all high quality and so too was the lining inside which had the eagle design on it. A great investment.

This is the best leather jacket I have bought for years, 3 xl is just perfect for my size 175cm 85 kg, I can wear some sweat or shirt under in fall and winter days. Schott is really a great one.

La piel de la chaqueta es de buena calidad. Buenos acabados. En mi caso 1,75 y 74 kg. la XL demasiado gde. Probaremos con una L.

Bellissima giacca in vera pelle del tutto uguale a quella che ho avuto negli anni 90: stessa pelle, stesse rifiniture (cuciture, marchi e rilievo nella pelle etc.). Posso dire che in quegli anni costava molto di più in proporzione e quindi sicuramente è un gran bell'affare... e un bel pezzo da avere nell'armadio ;-)

Je me suis moi aussi fié aux commentaires qui disaient de prendre une taille au dessus, C'EST TOTALEMENT FAUX !!!!!Je vous conseille de mesurer votre tour de poitrine et ensuite de vous fier au tableau des tailles.J'ai donc pris une taille au dessus par rapport aux commentaires, et la veste était trop large au niveau de la poitrine de la taille et des manches... Pas énormément certes mais assez pour gâcher la coupe.J'ai donc retourné le colis en taille L et je vais commander une taille M qui est ma taille habituelle, ce qui sera un peu plus ajusté et donc plus jolie.Suite : voilà j'ai reçu la taille M le lendemain, j'ai choisi de me faire rembourser sur mon compte Amazon et non sur mon compte en banque ce qui est beaucoup plus rapide pour se faire rembourser. Vous fermez bien votre colis vous l'emmener à la poste et c'est eux qui vous mettrons une étiquette de retour grace a votre code barre fourni par Amazon.Au sujet de la taille M qui est ma taille habituelle, et bien c'est PARFAIT je peux même la fermer sans être compressé et ne plus pouvoir bouger.Laisse un petit like 😊
