Excellent product
This product makes washing the hair of bedbound individual easy and a comfortable experience. There is a comfy head and neck rest which preventswater seeping down the neck and clothes of the person. And it also keeps the individual's head out of the water, so you can just focus on their hair without getting water into their mouth or eyes However, DO NOT OVERINFLATE! The first time the carers inflated this product, they overinflated it, causing it to pop at the seams. I ordered another one, and have been cautious not to inflate it until it was like a rock, it has lasted several months so far and is still going strong. The head basin offers alot of room, fitting a head and long hair effortlessly. Also once blown up, the product doesn't deflate itself, so you don't need to keep blowing it up between head washes

Great solution for washing hair in bed
This inflatable hair washing basin has been a lifesaver for caring for my elderly loved one. It's comfortable, easy to inflate, and makes hair washing much more manageable without needing to move them. The water stays contained, and the built-in drain works well. It’s a practical, well-designed product that brings comfort and dignity to the person being cared for. Highly recommended!

Measure your bed.
You need to check your bed size as the basin is quite large. My mother in law is bed bound and is in a hospital bed at home, the basin is nicely square but the hospital bed has a foot rest which restricted how far I could move MIL down the bed. We did manage it and it worked OK. I couldn't get her flat so had to bail out the basin rather than use the drain hole but that was OK. I used a foot pump to inflate the basin and will not be deflating it. The head rest inside the basin did not inflate - I think it has a puncture but that worked out ok for us so not making an issue of it. Only used once so far so I think we will get better at it.

Used by Hospital teams
Pros: - pillow headrest makes positioning and washing underneath easy - drain in the side/edge makes emptying easy, tube included can make draining in small spaces or heavy full basins better too - easy to inflate (pump not included) - pillow has lock to prevent air coming out once inflated (angle it/squeeze nozzle to let air out) - can be inflated at bedside or carried to bedside already inflated in preparation - easy to deflate - easy to store - enough space to wash hair but not too much space that water levels are low - versatile to wash any hair type/length - softer than rigid bowl/hard plastic basins Cons: - depending on the head position sometimes water can make its way down their back or past their shoulders - has to be pretty flat/ completely supine or increases the risk of spills - hard to clear water out from all folds (haven't found a basin that doesn't have this issue) - main basin doesn't have locking feature to keep air in like the pillow does, just the regular cap - condensation on the bed makes sheets damp (I always put a towel underneath the basin) - ? Potential to pop (haven't encountered this issue) - does take a bit of getting used to

Lifesaver for At-Home Care!
Look, washing someone’s hair in bed used to feel like prepping for a NASA mission—towels everywhere, buckets, chaos, and usually someone ends up wetter than the person getting their hair washed. Enter this magical inflatable hair washing basin. Inflates quickly (unless you’re like me and decide to do it with lung power—pro tip: get a pump unless you enjoy dramatic sighing). Once it’s set up, it’s surprisingly comfy! My mom said she felt like she was at a spa… if spas came with cats watching from the foot of the bed and me fumbling with shampoo bottles. No leaks, easy drainage, and no “Oops, now your pillow's soaked” moments. It even made my dad jealous—he wants one just for the “pampering experience.” If you’re caregiving or just want to wash your hair while horizontal (no judgment), this little floaty sink is worth every penny. I’d give it six stars if it came with a built-in massage feature.

Excellent product
I'm so glad I bought this product-my mum is confined to bed and I had no idea how I was going to get her hair washed, until thankfully someone told me this product existed. It does take a little bit of planning , and because my mum has Alzheimers I need a second person just to stay with her and reassure her, otherwise it is possible, for one person to use. First I place a washable/reusable incontinence pad under her head and some towels(you do get some spillage) .the inflatable hairbath on top. I have a table nearby with several jugs/saucepans of warm water, and shampoo and conditioner all ready. I have a mop bucket on the floor with the hose from the hairbath going into it. - Then I'm all sorted and ready to go. It was so nice to be able to get my mums hair really clean. Well worth every penny .

They can't even BOTHER TO RESPOND ! To say it is another £6 to return it is truly terrible.
The item wasn't the cheapest, The item wasn't the the most expensive either, The 'basic' inflatable hair washing in bed item started @ £10.+. The most expensive rose & past £30+. The 'deluxe' version was worth noting to go by as alot of the items were the same. I'm obviously going by different companies . I chose a mid range price but it had an added piece for a 'headrest'.Set to further, set back towards the centre of the 'pool part' is.... Today I received my item- 'deluxe', version but The writing matter included was the word 'deluxe' yet ithe photo just was of the basic versions and... the item I chose because of the 'added extra neck support' and I am left here having paid more money for a very basic version of this item . I am disappointed and the thing is that if I send it back I have to pay yet again. As I say I have paid extra already. It should be that this company gets into trouble with the fact what is received is NOT what is pictured or sold described but costs too much to return!
