Do you need to polish off the first coat or just clay bar and thoroughly clean when reapplying a year or so later?

The surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned (washed / glass cleaner) before application but not necessary to clay bar the surface. While not required, we suggest using einszett Glaspolish to polish the glass prior to application as the best way of deep cleaning the glass for best adhesion.
