Solid and nicely built. Good paint job. Installs easily. As with most products of this type, I didn't use the provided screws, rather I used my own deck screws to anchor it into studs. The finished look is very professional and way better than cobbled together black pipe.

Needed new steps into house from the garage this is ….Perfect for me . It’s strong and we put it on the wall which saves room and easy to use would buy again .

I gave it five stars, but I also did not use the included screws. Like others I suggest you throw the plastic anchors in the trash. I had some 2.5" SS screws on hand so I used them to get through the 3/4" door trim and thin plywood siding and into the 2x frame. I also drilled additional holes in the anchor plate, a belt and suspenders move, because we wanted the mount to be extra solid. I would have used long screws with any of the similar products. Screwing it to siding or sheet rock and not to a stud would I think just ask for trouble. With #10 screws or lag screws no worries.Even with the extra steps I took the rail was a quick install. It took longer to get user approval of the mounting height than to modify and install it.The house is a light color but the railing is next to a fern and other potted plants and in no ways stands out.

Knocked off one star due to cheap hardware. This is a sturdy, easy to install rail. However, on 1st installation the rail was not completely secured to the wall due to substandard drywall screws included. Get good ones to avoid doing this job twice. Now works great for the elderly relative and for my peace of mind.

I needed a handrail for the steps going into my garage. This was exactly what I was wanting!! Very sturdy and will be very helpful.

This handrail looks great and easy to attach to my outside door frame, and very sturdy.

My brother installed this for me. We determined that we wanted to screw it into solid wood studs behind the paneling in our garage so it took some work to remove a section of paneling, add some 2 x 4 material to the existing framing studs, and then screw this handle in place. We used screws that were longer than those provided, but in the end the installation is VERY solid. The large diameter of the railing is also a plus for my large hands.I'm very pleased with this product. I originally ordered two, but we only installed one because we had installed a different hand rail on the other side of the steps so that I could come home from skilled nursing for Christmas in 2023.

I'm disabled, and has kept me from falling twice so far. Very sturdy. Doesn't look ugly or out of place in my garage.

Excellent handrail. would have given it 5 stars if it would come with better screws.
