Are the cups and teapots patterned both sides or plain white on the back? I was hoping to be able to write on the back.

Just in case anyone else needs to know. I bought the teapot garland on the strength of the answer I was given but when it arrived I discovered BOTH sides are printed. It doesn't matter too much as I can stick white paper over the pattern. But it is definitely NOT plain white on the back
