Good sturdy bit of kit
I've had this for a good while now - extremely useful in the studio for both sheet music. I've had it on a few mic stands and it adapts to all of them. Once you're happy with height and angle, you can easily lock it in place, no fuss. The less clutter in a studio the better, so it's unlikely I ever go back to a standard stand. A little clip to secure the sheets would have been a nice addition, especially if you need to put a fan on, but I've found a couple of big folder clips do the job. Glad I spotted it - recomended.

Small music stand at a good price.
Needing a music stand to go with a drum kit, i'd looked at the free standing versions but decided to go for one that attached to a cymbal stand. Initially i was going to go for the large version but the measurements were very large, so decided to go for the small. After seeing the large stand was lansdcape in dimension, the image of the small stand also looked (at first glance) landscape, but when it arrived it was vertical.. No biggie, but the image is a little deceiving. It attaches well to the cymbal stand and just fits an Open A4 drum book, if you dont mind it hanging off the edges a bit. The extension arm is only 6 inches to the first swivel point, so don't expect too much placement options other than in front of the stand or slightly to the sides, but it's very sturdy and has a clear rubber gromet on the end of the nut so you don't scratch your stand when you tighten it.

Amazing for use with iPad
Perfect for use with iPads. We use these in our rehearsal room permanently. I imagine these would also be excellent for live use if you use an iPad for that. It is very secure, it's pretty easy to put together and comes apart well for transporting.

Music sheet stand
Great bit of kit. Sturdy and not so heavy as to make mic stand fall over. You can get almost any angle you would want.

Solid build but charts prone to slippage
Robust but bottom lip is somewhat shallow and charts can slide so I need to clip too. Frustrating between tunes. Arm is not long and not as snug branched from hihat as hoped for. Solid build but a tweak here and there would improve its usability

Great stand
Used this for my son’s drum kit to hold music attached to one of the kit toms. Could do with a slightly longer vertical rod but not fault of the product. Music sheets stay put with a bulldog clip. Also holds an iPad but I need a way to properly secure it without it falling off when played with enthusiasm :)

Heavy, strong, and an excellent solution
Just what I need for setlists & notes for live gigs, it is a bit heavy and sturdy so you have to ensure everything is done up tight on your mike stand, but it should mean this will endure for a long time without breaking

I bought the Stagg MUS-ARM 1 to attach to a Hercules MS401B microphone stand and support a Digitech Trio+ Band Creator pedal. It performs that function, beautifully, and there is room left over on the platform. The mic stand's upright is one inch in diameter, and the Stagg clamp fits it with room to spare. The Trio+ and connected cables probably weigh a couple of pounds--not enough to stress the MUS-ARM 1, which seems quite sturdy. It was easy to set up and configure as I wanted it (see photo). It can be set up as a flat, horizontal platform if desired. The wider MUS-ARM 2 could not be configured flat without modifications, as described in another reviewer's post. Do I need to say that hanging anything off the side of a mic stand increases it's chances of tipping over? The MUS-ARM 1 is fairly heavy, by itself, and with additional weight on the platform, a stable mic stand is required to keep everything upright. With a tripod stand, position one of the legs under the MUS-ARM 1. I was surprised that there is no non-slip or cushion material inside the clamp. It seems to hold sufficiently well, but I might add some rubber pads in the "V" of the clamp, to see if they improve the grip. Otherwise, I'm satisfied.

Excellent bang for buck. Spacious and sturdy enough for heavy scores and books. I’m not using the original attachment. I’m using the 5/8 thread on another adapter to use it as a music stand attached to a keyboard stand with my Roland Fantom.
