Transparent in sound and operation (most of the time)
Fulfilled my expectations. Tonally it seems no different than the factory head unit, which just indicates its high level of transparency (a good thing). It's capable of delivering significantly more power than the factory head unit and this has enabled me to fit some better sounding after market speakers that were not quite as efficient as the factory speakers and still turn it up when the mood takes. Its not capable of blasting huge SPL, but I doubt anyone considering this would be expecting that. The compact size meant I managed to find a perfect spot for it behind the glove box. The high pass switches should come in handy when I fit a small subwoofer as it should stop the door speakers having to work so hard hopefully further improving sound quality. The only slight niggle is that my car has stop / start and in traffic there can be a momentary interruption to the sound when the car starts back up, which was not an issue with the factory head unit on its own. Also if the volume is very high when the stop / start activates the sound can cut out entirely as the amplifier senses the voltage drop and puts itself in protection mode. Not a big deal for me as its quite rare for me to listen at very high volume, but something to bear in mind if you do enjoy your music very loud.

What a difference
Installed this plug and play unit in my 2012 honda (you need an ISO t-harness specifically for your car - usually £10-20 if you want a plug and play install). Was a breeze and made a huge difference- 20-30mins.Prior to the installation I upgraded all four 6.5” (17cm) speakers on all four doors. I added JBL stage 2 components in front (45w rms - £60) and Cerving Vega red 2 ways in rear (65w rms - £100)There was no bass and the speakers weren’t loud. Not a surprise as the factory head unit puts out 10w rms per channel tops. So not enough for the speakers that I installed.But after adding this compact amp, which beautifully fit behind the head unit, the audio is so loud that is impossible to listen to it at max volume. I tried it, and there was no distortion.On youtube I’ve see this amp tested. And it truly provides over 45Wx4. The test showed over 50W rms per channel. The amp also doesn’t get warm. And most importantly, nobody would guess that my 2012 car with a factory head unit has an upgraded system until they hear it. I did not have to cut or splice any of the factory wires.There are no crackles, pops or unwanted noise from the amp. It is perfect. I have plenty of mid bass with the speakers I purchased and they will do. But if I wanted to, I could also add a subwoofer. But I am very happy with the outcome and will keep things as is. Easiest Amp Install EVER...
Honda Civic Type S 2010 Mk8 1.8Installed with existing JVC double DIN any boy it made a difference. Speakers are Pioneer TS Series, component up front and 3-way in rear. Volume goes so loud without distortion, running on 4ch and HPF and sound is clear, bass is not thumping but that's how I like it. Install was so easy, just plug in and off you go. No issues with power cutting out and didn't need separate power feed to battery.

Great power for small amp
Great amp for a great price too. The amp is very small and compact ot put behind the stereo of my bmw f34 and the change In sound for my bmw standard speakers was enhanced with better quality and more punchy bass. I have changed the stock speakers and subs as I am audiophile.

Great little amp
I have a convertible so not a lot of room to fit amps etc.This fitted behind the dash and gave the little extra omph needed to hear the radio with the roof down.Recommended

I regret getting this.
First things first, the delivery was very quick - I got it here in Ireland within 2 days of ordering it which was great but that's the only good thing about it.I hooked it all up and it didn't work straight away, it took some faffing about with the iso blocks to get it to power on when it finally did it made a big difference to the Pioneer speakers I have in the car....it was great for all of 5 minutes, after installing it in the car I turned my radio up (also pioneer) it goes to 62 and I got as far as level 40 when the radio switched itself off.I thought I must have blown a fuse so I checked all of them two, three, four times at least.... all perfect. This little amp somehow managed to fry my accessory lead which switches the radio on so now I have to run a whole new accessory wire into the car to get my radio back working!It seems like a great idea but honestly I wouldn't waste my money if I were you! It's just not worth the headache it has now given me, do yourself a favour get a proper amp and wiring kit instead!

Instructions on how to bridge the amp and my sound quality improved!!
My current setup is a pair of Focal component speakers with a JVC head unit. I needed an amp that can be hidden so I chose this amp. It fits really easy behind my head unit and my speakers sound perfect now. It’s like they’ve come alive once I installed the amp but there is a catch!I strongly recommend powering the amp directly from the battery instead of using power from the existing harness since my head-unit would sometimes randomly shutdown or glitch while it was playing music and it makes sense since the amp is basically stealing power from the radio if you don’t run a wire to the battery. You need a 12 gauge wire and a fuse holder with a 20amp fuse plus crimping accessories. (I say 20amp fuse since the amp already has a 15amp internal fuse so the power wire fuse should be slightly higher)A lot of people are saying they don’t know how to bridge the amp, it was actually easy. (I will include a picture of the wiring diagram). You have to remove a few pins from the reverse ISO harness (picture included). 1) remove the pin for the white/black wire2) remove the green/black wire and stick it in the hole where the white/black wire originally was3) remove pin for the grey wire 4) remove pin for the violet wire and insert it where the grey wire pin originally was. I bridged my amp since I don’t use the rear speakers. (Only a front set of component speakers + sub).
