Soup Maker Recipe Book: 100 Delicious & Nutritious Soup Recipes

A great little book full of really easy, nutritious recipes for your soupmaker using every day ingredients.

So there are no pictures. That's why it's so cheap ! If you are a proper cook this shouldn't matter a jot. One bowl of smooth soup looks just like another. The only thing that changes is the colour. The book is very well laid out. A long list of soups at the beginning and an index at the end where you can search by ingredients. The pages are numbered so everything can be found quickly and easily. There is also a section on making various stocks. What do you want for a fiver ? This is excellent value !

A wide range of recipes and we have tried a few already. The results have been very pleasing and tasty. A number though require some preparation. If your soup maker has a sauté function then in the main this will not be a problem. Ours does not. I might have bought a different model if I had purchased the book first!

Excellent book no nonsense delicious recipes I don’t like Kale but the Kale and Lentil soup is Awesome. I was so excited at the red pepper and peanut soup I got the book yesterday and made 2 of the soups today. Now comes the messy bit…. As far as I could see The book does not give advice or if it is somewhere in the book it is not easily visual on the size soup maker you need. I have the Morphy Richard compact 1 litre and the liquid was far too much in ratio with the ingredients plus I would strongly suggest DO NOT ADD PEANUT BUTTER while cooking… it made the maker keep switching off but when I made the kale and lentil it was fine. stir in the peanut butter as soon as the maker switched off while soup is still very hot, I found this soup was quite sweet and delicious and probably a hit with the kids.,. For my personal taste I added extra chilli and garlic. I would highly recommend adjust the liquid of 800ml, you can always add more when it’s cooked if to thick

Some really nice recipes in this book I especially liked the mushroom and tomato soups they were easy to follow instructions without too any ingredients.

Pros-Great sized book 23x15cm-The recipes are designed for the size of soup maker I have-Some of the recipes are one pot with more if you choose not to sautéCons-I knew it didn't have pictures when I ordered it but didn't realise how much I find the food pictures impacted on my desire to make them.-The recipes are hard to find. This book has a content page one where the 100 recipes are listed in the order they come in the book and then 2 index by key ingredient sections one at the front and one at the back. So if you are looking for a specific carrot or tomato recipe, there are 10 pages of each to check. This is very frustrating.I bought the book after trying out one recipe from the website, the recipe I tried from the website isn't in the book The book arrived damaged in any case so I will be getting a refund rather than a replacement.I can see it has a lot of great reviews but this isn't one I would recommend

I was given a soup maker and opted for this book as the ones that came with the instruction booklet were limited. The book has excellent recipes, so simple to make, easily modified if you don’t have the correct ingredients in the cupboard and very varied to keep the palate guessing!

The book is put together very well highly recommend, but there is no pictures inside the book

For the price (17,68 eu), I had expected a better quality book with at least a few photos to inspire. I was further disappointed that most recipes involve sauté ing ingredients before putting them in the soup maker. If I am going to do that I might as well do the whole thing in the saucepan, it would save on washing up! I will use it but feel somewhat cheated.

Great recipes, no photos, she also has a website with more recipes and a Facebook group as well.
