I have bought this to upgrade my eight years old PC with Gigabyte MB (Home assembled) along with Intel i5 14th generation CPU and 64GB RAMS.Gone through all the Burn in tests without any issues and working fine.

Decided to build my own PC a year ago after realising the potential cost savings compared to buying a quality PC ready built. Some trepidation (having never done it before) but it was quite straightforward, partly thanks to this motherboard being so easy to work with. What's more, it has proved 100% reliable - no issues.

Has good features, value for money isnt the best but its still worth, it handled my upgrade from 12th to 14th gen cpu, but it doesnt come with the right bios straight away, you have to install it

Great and good support. Note when getting processor chk if vga chip on processor i9. Board help post check cpu. Ram. Vga then boot led light for each. Mine got stuck at vga. Had fit vga card now works.

Ok. So my friend and I built identical Gaming PCs with the only difference being the MOBO and case. My 3dMark score is a couple thousand points higher than his so I really can't say anything bad about the performance of this mobo. I bought this one because of positive reviews over other boards at a similar price. Funnily enough the reviews mentioned poor software support which has come to bite me. This mobo uses an app called GCC to control drivers, lighting, support software etc. It truly is terrible and forced me to use third party apps. I have RGB Corsair RAM and the board refuses to allow me to control the lights or recognises them. Good luck trying Gigabyte Tech Support or getting an answer from them. Ridiculously convoluted process wanting too much info which most people will have to strip their PC for such as model No's of RAM, CPU, etc. Unfortunately the Drivers/support page also has updates that aren't self explanatory and don't install with Winfows such as the update to improve the boards lighting control.For a budget Z790 board I would definitely recommend it for its simple plug and play, slots and performance. Just let down by poor software

Got this to replace an MSI Tommahawk Z790 that crashed an burned with a BIOS update and became unrecoverable. Pretty much a slot in direct replacement although I had to move to DDR5 RAM but I thought I should move with the times on that one. Have been using it for a couple of months now with no issues, fast, stable and has all the features I need from a full size motherboard can't fault it.

does not properly recognise latest gen 5 memory at high speed...bios very messy..overall very dissapointed in this board...bought MSi one ....perfect.
