Can these leak at all?
So, I've been using cloth menstrual pads for years. GladRags, LunaPads, and a couple of others I can't remember. I recently bought some of these to test them, and at first I was disappointed. They seemed very thin and floppy, like they would lide around and leak within five minutes of being worn. In addition, the surface seemed to be made of an almost towel-like material that looked uncomfortable. Still, I washed them and put one on.It has never leaked.Listen, I have a seriously heavy flow. It's like there's a massacre happening in my uterus every month rather than a simple biological process. I switched to cloth pads because I couldn't get more then an hour or two hours out of disposables without bleeding through the pad and whatever I might be wearing. Even using a menstrual cup and cloth pads simultaneously, I have had problems. Not with these.I don't know what the makers have done to these, but despite their thinness, they just refuse to slip out of place or leak! I even wore one cupless for around 5 hours at the peak of my flow when I went on a picknic that ran long, and it was fine! For me, that is a HUGE deal. They also machine wash perfectly, and can roll up very small for easy carrying. I basically worship these pads during my period. I am a convert, and you should be too. Just one word of advice - Wash them at least twice before you wear them to avoid the chlorine-menstruation smell of disposable pads, as the towelly bit seems to have been bleached at some point.

Disappointing. Try another brand...
Really disappointing pads, there are better ones out there so don't waste your money. I have used my own home sewn pads for around a year and thought I would treat myself to some "proper" ones, so bought several different brands to see which were best and these were the worst of the lot. Firstly, there is very little structure to them so they fold and flop around inside your undies, next the poppers are set so widely apart I could slip my hand inside the gap between knickers and pad...not good and didnt bode well for what I knew would come next...leakage. I wore this pad for 3 hours sat down and I knew as soon as I stood up that it had leaked, so really not happy. I've never had a leak with my own ones and the other two brands I bought are so far so good but this brand I simply cannot recommend. At best its a pretty panty liner but I certainly wouldn't risk wearing it outside of the house. Shame.

I am happy for the enironment but I do think they are ...
I am happy for the enironment but I do think they are chunky and as I live in a houseshare I cant wash it that easily or leaving it soaking anywhere. If I lived by my self it would be better. I also think you do need to change at least twice when you work normal hours and have a normal flow.

No Structure, too large for the gussets of most panties, moves around a lot.
I wanted to like these pads, I always try to buy British manufactured where I can and don't mind paying extra for supporting local businesses. So it grieves me to give a negative review.I cannot get on with these pads. The absorbency is great for what I need, its the shape material and lack of structure to the pad that I don't like. When fastened to my panties, even on the first press stud of the wings (the press studded part of the diamond-esque shape) just hangs far too loose. Because there is no padding/ structure to the gusset of these pads and that the material is just cotton instead of flannel or a fabric that creates friction the pad slides, scrunches up, twists and moves around a lot creating issues and an uncomfortable feel when sitting. Because of this feeling, I don't feel comfortable or confident to wear these pads.If I may make a suggestion...Home work needs to be done and measurements need to be made of the gusset in ladies Panties. then the wings need to represent the average.A slight padding to the gusset is needed to prevent twisting and creasing. The material that sits next to the panty needs to have some sort of friction as there is no glue holding these pads in place.***I recently purchased a pair of Bridget Jones knickers (granny pants) to go under a little black dress for a Christmas party. The gusset of these panties is considerably larger and surprisingly a lot more comfortable that my ordinary everyday ones. I wore one of these pads with those pants and have to say... They were comfortable, did not move nor hang and the absorbency was great. With the right type of pants these pads are fantastic. Due to this recent discovery of Bridget's Knickers, I'm taking these stars from a 2 star to a four star because of the fit, comfort and absorbency of these pads with these panties.

Effective, comfortable and cute!
I've tried only two brands, but I ended up using only this so I bought them twice.I've never had any problem with disposable pads, but the other cloth pads brand I tried made me feel painfully itchy. As soon as I put these on, I literally sighed with relief. They're very fresh, soft and comfortable.A couple of times I couldn't change the pad during my working shift and after 8 hours standing (second day of my period, the worst) it leaked a bit and stained my underwear. I've never had leaks otherwise, so I think that's a pretty good performance. To keep them in place I use a safety pin at the front. After I used them I quickly rinse them and keep them soaked in cold water and then just wash them with the rest of the laundry. They might not come out perfectly white, but as long as they're clean I don't consider it a big problem, and they dry fairly quickly.Compared to the other brand they're a bit shorter and thinner, but since I have a medium flow it's more than enough and that makes it easier to carry them around folded.I love the floral patterns of the fabric. I have six of them, all different, and they are all so cute!
