Cannot praise this air purifier highly enough. Proved to be of great relief to this allergy sufferer and helped me overcome a bad cough I'd been suffering from before purchase within a couple of days. As long as the unit is maintained - keeping the water bowl clean and the occasional limescaling of the one removable part - the purifier will run smoothly. The noise level is a personal thing, but I found it to be pretty benign, further reassured by the low running cost. I'm yet to use any essential oils (water soluble only) but if you know anyone that smokes, the odour is neutralised within about 20 minutes of use without a fragrance. This is great value unit. Show it a little love and it will serve you for a long time.

I have upgraded from my Pureaire I've had for about 10 years. I couldn't believe the difference with a new, fresh one! Within five minutes my nostrils unblocked (I suffer from allergies) and I've been breathing deeply through my nose for the first time in years! It's amazing. It actually felt cold as it loosened the mucus and the room it is in has a fresh air atmosphere now. I actually like the noise even though it isn't too loud as I am low on the autism spectrum so I like white noise to focus on so deter from traffic and neighbours. I immediately ordered two more for other rooms as I noticed the difference in the air when i came upstairs where I don't have one. Thank you Pureaire, it's improved my daily life! I wouldn't recommend using ANTHING other than the Pureaire oils as I blocked up my original one with Dr Bronner. Personally, I use just water but my sister uses oils in hers and with her new one she will stick to the Pureaire brand to keep it working best.

As it says this is the basic one comes with a deodarising, antibacterial scent, I use it in my bedroom during the day it makes the room seem fresh the air more purer it has a blue led light which you can have on or off. If looking for a water based scent ventilator this is the product many different types of scents can be bought for this sold separately except for the basic one which this comes with. It's for making a room more fresher getting rid of bad smells for dust removal and so on I recommend different products. You won,t be able to sleep with this as is moderately loud but bar able if doing something other than sleep in a room. Overall I am happy with this purchase for the price and how good it works as the item described above so can recommend it on that level. Easy to clean, bowl wiped water replaced it recommends every 24 hours and just splash in whatever scent from pure air you have place the lid on bowl just sits on automatically starts when remove lid stops automatically, good but do you're reasarch and decide what you need this for.

Bought this for a friend who has COPD and she loves it ,keeps air dust free .She had one before for many years but it broke down so I treated her to a new one .

Excellent difinetly does the job clears the air so it’s easier to breathe ,will be buying more and highly recommend to all my friends and family

Wow! I have been using this now for a few weeks. And I have to say it's amazing. I put water with a capful of zoflora in mine and the smell is incredible. I have also noticed that by using the lemon or the mandarin and lime zoflora I have had no flys in the house even tho the patio doors are open all day! I've even recommended it to a friend! .x

This air purifier is a good price but unfortunately it is very noisy! We have tried it in the living room but it can be heard over the television and is distracting. It can also be heard when it is in another room entirely! The switched Violet light is very nice but you can't see that when you have to religate it to another room! The machine itself does work well in clearing/cleaning the air, making it feel and smell very fresh. It also makes the air very much cooler so will be ideal on a hot summer day when the house gets stuffy. I cannot comment on whether it is good for any one suffering with chest complaints as fortunately it doesn't apply to us. I bought PureAire Autum collection of 3 scents but despite adding more drops than recommended the smell from the Sandlewood and Eucalyptus scents lasted only a very short time - the Lavender scent is lovely, lasting a couple of hours rather than minutes (they are all quite subtle and also create quite a bit of froth whizzing round in the machine). So, mixed feelings about this machine - it works well in cleaning and freshening the air but the motor is very noisy and PureAire's own scents only perfume the air for a very short time - hence only 3 * given.
